The price of oil dropped like a rock when Reagan was president. A lot of jobs were lost in the oil sector. The Obama economy has benefited from the fracking boom that he had nothing to do with.

I may have been a young lad in the 1980s, but I can tell you that Obama’s America is not even equal to the 1980s.

The price of oil dropped like a rock when Reagan was president. A lot of jobs were lost in the oil sector.Yes, I remember that but it was beyond President Reagan's control since the price drop was engineered by DemonRATs who wanted to destroy the booming Texas economy. Even then, the free market flourished due to Reaganomics and jobs for those displaced in that temporary downturn were plentiful. That's why, in spite of the efforts of the 'RATs to hurt Texas, things turned around in a relatively short period of time.
I made a lot of money during the Reagan years of prosperity and prudently saved and invested it. Thankfully when Kommie KKKlintoon came along and wrecked the economy, Newt Gingrich's Contract with America fixed things for another wave of real prosperity and good times. No wonder that FR was all in for Newt in 2012!

And Tina Fey (this time as Tina Fey) follows up by saying, “Move over, Adam: It’s my turn.”
As a side note, my auto correct always wants to say “Tuna Fey” instead of “Tina Fey”.

This is a bogus comparison between recessions. Reagan approved austere Fed measures during his recession. Whereas Obama is spending and having the Fed print money like crazy. I repeat, this article is total cow crap.

This is a repost. Someone put this crap up yesterday.

Visited the
authors site.. he is billed as a top-notch business consultant for innovation. Somehow I think that QE1 and QE2 have put some bucks in his pocket and made him a happy camper...but not sure he mentions them. Nor does he seem to mention the decline in household income, and many other facts inconvenient to his narrative. Nor do I think he much associates with many folks I know desperate for good work doing some part time crap here and there and just struggling to get by. Nor do I get the feeling he gives a crap.
