BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. – Another two bite the dust.
Central New York’s Fayetteville-Manlius and Baldwinsville school districts are the latest to ditch the National School Lunch Program, which was revamped in 2010 under the guidance of First Lady Michelle Obama in an effort to fight childhood obesity.
Strict limits on calories, fat, sugar, carbohydrates, sodium and other aspects of the school lunch imposed by the federal government on schools participating in the free and reduced lunch program has not only increased cafeteria costs, they’ve resulted in a drastic drop in the number of participating students.
At Fayetteville-Manlius, Baldwinsville, and thousands of other districts the new regulations resulted in a sharp downturn in students who eat school lunch and a sharp increase in food waste. The lost sales are threatening the viability of cafeteria programs in schools across the country, prompting many to do without federal subsidies to serve students food they’ll actually buy and eat.
“Grilled cheese and tomato soup was a very popular lunch,” Baldwinsville Superintendent David Hamilton told WRVO public media. “We couldn’t offer that under the new guidelines of the federal government. Spaghetti and meatballs, we couldn’t offer that either.”
As a result of last year’s school lunch menu high school lunch sales in Baldwinsville plummeted from about 600 to 430 students per day.

Meanwhile, lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives are considering legislation to provide exemptions from the lunch regulations for schools that are losing substantial revenue, though Michelle Obama has vowed to fight for her pet project “until the bitter end.”
President Obama has also promised to veto the legislation if it makes it to his desk, the Associated Press reports.

Wednesday was half off!!!
That was good living on the cheap! And stale bread helps keep your teeth white!
Wonder Bread was awesome back then. Don’t know why they changed its receipe.
I didn’t think any cheese was smellier than Limburger. Sometimes the kids have to subtly and politely socialize their parents.

If Moose really believed that her lunch menu was so good for people, she would be eating it herself in the White House. I some how doubt she pushes aside the Lobster for a carrot stick.
We live in a very conservative area. In a high school population of about 3,000 there are probably fewer than a dozen “minority” kids.

You don’t have to be minority to be on the cheap school lunch, just have a single mom often helps.
I just found a stat on per cent eligible for free or reduced fee lunch at the school, it is 25%. Black students at the school are less than 1%.
So, yes, lots of white free loaders too.

All the while Michelle Obama was stuffing her fat face with lobster and $100.00 an ounce Kobe beef and the woman’s got an ass big enough to shade a continent.
There’s a problem with this program, when you get to school children, their metabolic rates are highly variable. For instance, I could eat an entire little Caesar’s pizza one evening in a week, and when I graduated. High School, I was 6’2” and only 159lbs. What I ate would make a lot of teenagers go overweight, but it didn’t carry that effect. My body also didn’t accumulate cholesterol to any serious degree either. These dieting ideas sound a little harsh for athletic, super metabolic individuals such as myself.

The schools could save some money by firing all cafeteria staff and dumping the Moochelle food directly into the dumpster. Same result, lower cost, less fat kids.

The parasite class needs to be disenfranchised by any means necessary.
If the children in New York gain weight it's possible they will weigh down the United States causing California to raise up and make the Pacific Plate rise, causing Guam to flip over.
Your ideas need to be widely spread. For they apply not to just the children in NY, but all children subjected to this dangerous outbreak of nanny governmentism.
