Oh Wow, Conor, I did not know that one! Thank You.
It’s Beautiful.
Sergei Rachmaninoff did a magnificent setting of “The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom” over 2 hours long, all acapella. At the time, it was considered too “Non Traditional” to be used in Church. But I guess it is used now, except the Music during the Consecration is NOT on the CD, as it is considered sacred.
I really love that music, and play it a lot on my bedside table as i drift off to sleep.

It’s weird. Believers suffer a lot but they never are vanquished.

And it is most appreciated. Glad you had a nice day.

I will do so, Maestro - some of the tracks on the two albums I bought are from his "Vespers" and I am hungry for more.

EXTRA PRAYERS NEEDED DURING THESE TIMES!! He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Thanks very much, Maestro! I just went onto Amazon and bought an album - Rachmaninoff "Vespers" and "Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom."
They will both appear in Sunday Chapel threads in the future.

The Orthodox end of Christianity relies a lot on music, and it’s music of a high caliber.
