Can't post here but for those interested, Preston's take on the outbreak. Not comforting.

We are trusting the general health ,safety , and welfare of our Nation on the CDC
This is the same orgnaization that misplaced anthrax
This is the same organization that misplaced smallpox
This is the same organization that mishandled Swine Flu
Kinda makes you wonder ...... "when ".
What I want to know is who is accountable for violation of the "FIRST PROTOCAL " : " ISOLATION "
this will be the “reason” for marital law..the “threat” or lies about Ebola in the US.
Not surprized
'This is going to be most open and transparent adminstration ever '
Even Bawney Fwank is upset at the ongoing dishonesty.
I just read it with the news in the background. Scared the heck out of me. Too real.
I have heard that Ebola is a prime candidate for "weaponization" - perhaps they feel they need a fresh sample for "research"
Yes, and how many decades have we been sending people over there to teach them how to dig a simple water well.
"Free Republic is here to continue fighting for independence and freedom and against the unconstitutional encroachment of ever expanding socialist government...
We believe in the founding principles with all our hearts and mean to defend them to our dying breath..."
~Jim Robinson
For those not as familiar with Ebola and potentials...this is a definite read as it is based on a true story.

Vial Of Deadly Virus Missing From Texas Biolab

The Galveston National Laboratory lost one of five vials containing a deadly Venezuelan virus, according to the University of Texas Medical Branch, which owns the $174 million facility designed with the strictest security measures to hold the deadliest viruses in the country.
Like Ebola, the missing Guanarito virus causes hemorrhagic fever, an illness named for bleeding under the skin, in internal organs or from body orifices like the mouth, eyes, or ears, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
I suspect that they may not ever be able to account for it if it was that kind of human error, Schaffner said.
That's a double whammy for hussein's plan to destroy America. We've known forever there are shortages. The big question is why are there shortages for such a cheap and simple basic product. It made no sense back when we first heard of it and makes even less sense now that the shortage has lasted so long. Could this be similar to the ammo shortage and the government buying it up? Something smells.
According to Preston, the virus is transmitted through contact with bodily fluids yet even workers wearing hazmat suits have contracted it.
++++++
Scary. He also said the floors of the ward were covered in ALL types of body fluids...blood, urine, etc, etc...to an overwhelming degree. I wonder if this may have caused a breach in their protective measures.
Reorts are that the afflicted ebola doc walked into the Emory ER. If that’s true, then we ARE in definite trouble. No quarantine? That’s just STUPID!
bookmarking for later read - thank you so much for posting.
One of the statistics that I remember from the book is that certain groups of people had a higher survival rate with certain viruses. People who ate meat seemed to survive at a higher rate. Thus the upper class. Viruses rob you of protein and resupplying protein is helpful. Some viruses attack the heart ( and heart valves) so fast there is not much hope. I think it was the swine flu in the 1800's that could kill a healthy train car full of passengers in one hour if an infected person got on board when the virus was hot.
That’s quite interesting about the protein. Also, don’t know posted the bit about oregano oil but I think I’ll get some.
