It's too tiny to see. It's a modified A-frame with the "V" front pointing south - they have a great view north to south. I grew up in that country. Pretty neat coming from Brooklyn New York when I was little. Here's a night scene:
That bright orb is actually Venus. These pictures were taken across the Hood Canal from where my folks live. The larger lights are the little town about four miles from the house.- 1200 people. A gas station mini-mart, one restaurant, a pub and a post office.

Good evening Meg and (((HUGS))). Hope our BBQ doesn’t get washed out tomorrow, but if it does, I’ll take the rain. We had showers in our area today, but they missed us.

Might even cheat on the cooking & go out to eat. Thatll be a first but the idea of less work is very appealing to me right now!:)I'm with you on that one...easy is the best way!
Unfortunately, I haven't had time to do much writing...cleaning, cleaning out, organizing, throwing stuff in recycle bins, that kind of stuff.

I have an old cassette tape of Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops playing Sousa Marches. It is really good and I was going to play it tomorrow but can’t seem to find it.

Not to worry; I'm sure you'll find it. Think of the last time you saw/used it.
What plans do you have?

I also want to mention that there is a Spectre gun ship circling my house right now. They make a fairly distinctive sound.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Thank you. I plan to just lie around all day, listen to Sousa, and eat some Nathan’s Hot dogs I bought today. I am still deciding how to cook them.
My Sister and B.I.L are flying to Budapest, Friday for 8 months vacation so I will only be able to contact her by email.
There is a parade in my home town but it is just too hot so I will not be there. I was hoping my Daughter S.I.L and grandchildren could make it this Summer but probably not.
