In an interview with KABC radio last week, Rep. Janice Hahn (D-CA) offered the liberal world view of globalism before nationalism last week during an interview about the on-going crisis in Iraq. Hahn said she was "kind of uncomfortable" with the concept that the United States could claim any moral authority in using military action.
"I'm kind of uncomfortable with, you know, with the United States feeling that we do have some moral authority to go into these other countries and use military power to solve problems," the California lawmaker said.
Hahn also invoked the United Nations as a basis for this philosophy.
"I was part of D-Day celebration last, a couple weeks ago in Normandy and it was impressed again after World War II we're going to set up the United Nations and from this day forward we were supposed to really look at solving conflict internationally through diplomacy," Hahn continued. "So I don't know where we have a gotten this idea that we have that moral authority go in and attack country they've been attacked us and I'm uncomfortable with that."

She really dissed Obama with that statement.
We need to REMOVE estrogen from politics, otherwise we are all going to die. A massive swath of terrorist-controlled countries is a major threat to the West and there is no room for compassion if we wish to survive Islam.
typical lefty dingtwit that probably goes out in the woods on weekends, gets naked and beats a drum while worshipping her 'earth mother'.
I wonder if she’d be as unwilling to claim moral authority if she was being gang-raped by a bunch of bearded goat-pluggers while her daughter’s throat was being cut.
Now we go around the world forcing countries to accept sodomy and all other kinds of freaks.
I’m also uncomfortable with USA thinking it his “moral authority” - to enforce political correctness and progressivism in this country and around the globe.
Well, no need to worry about that anymore, because the Progressives have gone and squandered it all.
What's ironic is how certain the leftists are about their own moral authority, although they have none.
I’m uncomfortable that democrats have no morals at all.
So what she is saying is the U.S. shouldn’t be promoting the Kyoto Treaty and Climate Disruption efforts, and the U.S. shouldn’t be telling Russia and Uganda to stop being homophobic?
Another liberal dip stick and not near as useful.
And I’m even more uncomfortable with Dems have no morals whatsoever.
She has no problem assuming authority on how 300 million Americans will live. She has no problem assuming moral authority on deciding how much of our money we are allowed to keep and who should get what she assumes moral authority to take by force.
Oh @!##!$ -— the problem isn’t a surfeit of estrogen, it’s a lack of strategic thinking. And that comes in both “hawks” and “doves,” AND in both sexes.
Have to agree with Janice, we are very short on morality in this country and that is because the liberals and DEMS like her have been running the show and they are absent of morals.
I'm disgusted at the fact we elect representatives who think and speak like teenagers.
Tell that to the president with regard to his Uganda policy
Sarah Palin’s a woman - the difference is Sarah’s not an idiot...
Is she related to Kenny Hahn?
That guy certainly was a piece of ........work.
