The U.S. military has captured a man believed to be one of the ringleaders of the deadly attacks on the American diplomatic compound and a CIA base in Benghazi, Libya, in September 2012, officials said Tuesday.

Yeah...I believe this.

Just like I believe that Obama’s government did not tell nearby US Forces to stand down. They spent weeks parsing the ‘fog of war’ as ex SoS Clinton pathetically bleats and why they didn’t act, and in this same report issued by the SD et al, they say they did not compel US Forces to stand down. Even in the wake of her “What does it matter?” line, she has further devolved to “I cannot please my detractors with any answer, so I won’t.

I believe all of this about as much as I believe the Clintons were flat broke when they left the WH.

"There was no 'stand down' order issued to U.S. military personnel in Tripoli," the report said, blaming the claim on "confusion" about the facts arising from what it termed inadequate previous reviews.

Bull crap!

Tripoli rescue team told to stand down.

Hicks: Special Forces ‘Furious’ Upon Being Told to Stand Down video at link

"According to Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks, the deputy chief of mission in Libya, special forces were “furious” when they were told to stand down during the Benghazi attack. “I will quote Lieutenant Colonel Gibson,” Hicks told the House Oversight Committee in hearings today, “He said, ‘This is the first time in my career that a diplomat has more balls than somebody in the military.’”"

This might be considered a stand down too.

Whistle-blower: Botched talking points hurt FBI probe of Benghazi attack

"Another whistle-blower questioned Wednesday why more military assets were not deployed sooner during the Benghazi terror attack. Mark Thompson, a former Marine and official with the State Department's Counterterrorism Bureau, said he was rebuffed by the White House when he asked for a specialized team -- known as a FEST team -- to be deployed. This is a unit made of special operations personnel, diplomatic security, intelligence and other officers."

BENGAZI - Why Wasn't FEST Activated?

Here is a third way a "stand down" policy was implemented IMO.

Blow-by-Blow: How Obama & Hillary Left Americans to Die

"Nordstrom further testified in writing that Hillary Clinton waived security requirements for the Benghazi consulate despite high and critical threat levels in the six categories of security standards established under the Overseas Security Policy Board and the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act of 1999. The waiver can only be authorized by the Secretary of State, who cannot delegate that responsibility to someone else. ”If the Secretary of State did not waive these requirements, who did so by ordering occupancy of the facilities in Benghazi and Tripoli?” Nordstrom wrote."

The pigs have long since gotten out, taken over a grain elevator, and gotten into the farming business. It’s kind of late to shut the barn door now.

Apart from the three different stand down orders in the post above there is the fact that 0bama never issued a "stand up" order ie a CBA with an ensuing rescue mission from outside Libya.

Only the POTUS had the authority to act!

0bama was notified immediately and automatically when the Benghazi consulate triggered the "Imminent Danger Notification System" alert. He did nothing.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer (U.S. Army ret.), former CIA Station Chief Gary Berntsen and former CIA operative Mike Baker

They confirm everything Col. Hunt said about automatic notifications to the WH and add more details.

There are three scandals here...

---------------------------------------------------------

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.

The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.

ONE man had the authority to act that night.

ONE man deserted his post!

EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

0bama abandoned his post. 0bama Is A Deserter!

0bama did nothing!!!

Can’t keep him in Gitmo because Obama is closing that. So Obama will probably attempt to bring him into the US where the terrorist’s lawyers will have a field day with Eric Holder.

This is the first time I have heard this. This alone should have ended Hillary’s political career.

Has Eric Holder read him his rights yet???

He is probably a plant to discredit the entire Benghazi investigation. After a suitable time he will be released to the appropriate authorities in some terrorist hell hole.
Am I getting too skeptical

Oh, yeah! Hillary had an $8.3 billion dollar Overseas Contingency Fund and spent $200k on a private British security company who hired the Feb. 17th Martyrs Brigade for security at the Benghazi consulate.
