The FReeper Canteen Presents... Happy Fathers Day 2014!!
WHAT MAKES A DAD?
God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, And the depth of a family need.
Then God combined these qualities, And then there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it - Dad.

I had a student this morning, so no yard sales today.
Then I went to rehearse, brought all my equipment, and the guitar player was sick...it seemed like she ate something BAD.
I prayed for her and gave her a list of songs.
Tomorrow should be interesting.

Thanks Kathy. Received a Fathers Day call from my son at Kandahar today. All is well with him. He’s staying busy, which is good. Our younger son took us out to eat for some good ol’ Texas style comfort food and some great guitar music under a pleasant Texas sky. Life is good.
