President Obama thought trading a deserter for five top terrorists would be a PR coup. What does this tell us about our president as a person? At the most basic level, it shows that Obama does not share Americans’ visceral reaction to Bergdahl’s betrayal of his fellow soldiers and country. Obama, and no doubt Kerry, thought a deserter could be palmed off as a perfectly fine hero.
Before rushing on to the usual chatter about Obama’s incompetence, his wanting to get attention off the VA, and his grandiose belief in his brilliance at negotiating with Islamist regimes, it is important to pause and consider why Obama’s gut reaction is so off.

What he did, how and why were deliberate.

And then, there's the well-known "57 states" slip. It's not arithmetic, or ignorance of how many US states there are. There ARE 57 theocratic, Islamic states, and that's what was uppermost in Obama's mind when he made this Freudian slip.
I did read it to the end. That’s why I posted it and gave it such high praise.
Hillary and Obama were up to some kind of no good when they overthrew the government of Libya. The Democrat voters couldn’t see that, but Al Qaeda could. So, our enemies attacked the operation in Benghazi. Once our enemies had the Ambassador (at least his body), they began negotiating WITH OBAMA.
Once Obama started negotiating with our enemy, they let him know that they were aware of whatever no good Hillary and Obama were up to when they overthrew the government of Libya. This caught Obama by surprise. He then realized that he had to give the enemy everything they asked for to keep them from releasing the goods on him and Hillary.
That’s why Obama went to bed. He was scared the enemy was going to release the info on his actions in overthrowing the government of Libya.
There is also the matter of the antiaircraft missiles that Hillary and Obama let fall into enemy hands in Libya.
Hillary and Obama were looking to score some easy money in Libya, and our enemy caught them in the act and has been blackmailing them. The first thing we have to do is take away the blackmailers hold on us. That means Obama must resign. He can claim he’s sick. As for the antiaircraft missiles, maybe we have to pay some blackmail money.
One thing is for sure. We MUST punish the Americans who got us into this mess and who have been covering it up. There might be some Republicans who knew about this and have been keeping quiet. Not very smart, but understandable. Maybe they get to stay, maybe they have to resign. Either way, they aren’t criminals like the Democrats. Using the good offices of the Executive Branch of our country to make personal profit must be punished to make sure this kind of behavior is not repeated.
You did well. My comment was really addressed to the Freepers in general who often comment based on a read of the first two lines of an article. I’m even guilty of that bad habit myself.
