(Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Monday established an interagency group to handle the large and growing influx of children streaming into the United States illegally and without parents or relatives accompanying them.
In a memo that describes an "urgent humanitarian situation," Obama has put the Federal Emergency Management Agency in charge of coordinating humanitarian relief to the children, including housing, care, medical treatment and transportation.
The Obama administration estimates that around 60,000 "unaccompanied minors" - children under 18 years - will enter the United States illegally this year. It projects that number to grow to nearly 130,000 next year.

If we find minors who are away from home, don’t we reunite with the parents? In this case, shouldn’t we deport the children back to where they came from, to be reunited with family?

Obviously obama’s short term goal is to found a permanent democrat majority. I imagine he also wants to provide his more well-healed, dual-income constituents a cheap source of domestic service.
But could he, or whoever is directing him, have a longer range game plan? Consider what’s going on with the West Coast: his policies have been disastrous for agriculture, and it will only get worse. At the same time, imports from South of the border are increasing, as a truck driver I know suggested.
Yeah, it sounds crazy, but could this be a deliberate policy to transfer agricultural production out of the US, or is the recent displacement of thousands of Mexicans just a coincidence?
Are we not smart enough to discern the newest tactic of illegals? adults get sent back - but children get placed in foster care. This policy enccourages parents to send their children unaccompanied, in a gambler’s game that some will survive the trip. With the children here, the parents can then petition to join them and not worry about being deported. It’s a scam of the hugest proportions and Zero is encouraging it.
Well, if reuniting the family is paramount, give these poor children DREAM status and let them anchor the family here.

Transportation to where? The only transportation we should be supplying them is a one way trip to back from where they came.
