I would have preferred to have given Shinseki a lifetime appointment in exchange for it being 0’s resignation. Could be an actual solution to the VA problem, and a host of others as well.
One question I have. Where or what level does the pressure come from for the people to feel they have to “game” the system?
Will go from bad to worse based on the experience of this administration. SOP.
Remember, any organization, company, institution is only as good as its leadership is good. And, the people in it are only as good as the leadership allows them to be, good.
So, if the leadership is poor and as arrogant as this twit, then those under him cannot be better because that would make him look bad and dull.

Veterans Budget Gets $63 Billion Boost From Obama White House

The money is targeted at eliminating the backlog of veterans claims for benefits and increasing mental health services, including treatment for military sexual trauma.
Shinseki turned aside a question about what the White House Office of Management and Budget, which has approval authority over agency budget requests, had rejected out of his budget proposals. “You could always use more money,” he said. But he added that President Obama has been a strong advocate for veterans, and his budget requests have increased every year.
He said of Obama, “There is nobody more impatient than the guy we’re reporting to.”

The Veterans Administration were advised of problems back in 2008, and know by President Obama, and no action was taken .
The Government's response is to spend more money at the problem. Since 2005 , the Veterans Administration budget has TRIPLED, already.
Money is not the problem . CRIMINAL LIABILITY and bonuses paid is the issue !!
The Veterans Administration is "SINGLE-PAYER" healthcare run by Government.
The Obamacare program is "SINGLE-PAYER" healthcare that is run by Government.
Any questions about what you and I can expect of healthcare that is run by Government ?
