President Obama was welcomed by the Black Knight of the Hudson for his speech at West Point on Wednesday, but less than 25 percent of the cadets gave him a standing ovation upon his introduction, the Daily Mail reported.
Receiving tepid applause and a short standing ovation from less than one-quarter of the audience upon his introduction, Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations while insisting that America must always lead on the world stage, the paper reported.
During his speech, which the Wall Street Journal called consistent with that of every post-Cold War administration, the president also took a swipe at critics, saying: I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; its our willingness to affirm them through our actions.
Much of the presidents speech focused on using military force only as a last resort and working with allies to solve global conflicts.

In the old days, they would have been invited to a “blanket party.”
The ones that applauded are the gays and trannies.
If there was ever political gobblygook speak, that was it. Obambi and his writers are beyond being out of their pay grade. Not one word of that is backed up by Obambi's actions. The dumbass even gave Putin (ex-KGB) the go-ahead when he said "after the election I will have more leeway".
This so-called brilliant black man (also half white) just doesn't get that community organizing doesn't translate to international politics and those who would increase their domination. In all my 64 years, I've never seen such a man that has such little concept on reality. Does he ever listen to his intelligence agencies? Oh, right, he doesn't attend that many meetings.
Exactly what we got from it...and ‘stop all that killing, you shooters, we have a better way than americans do’
It was awful. I’m sure they applauded because he was done.
Forty five minutes of scolding.
Don’t forget that Cadets get there through Congressional Appointment. If only 25% were appointed by Democrats, we’re doing ok.
edit in a laugh track
Remember one third of the country supports this usurper. Plus, the class was probably directed or at least "encouraged" to make a showing.
I would bet 20 to 1 odds that there wasn't a black Cadet that didn't stand up for their black president. Like I said previously he is half white which he ignores like Holder does. What a couple of racists and so are all who support him because of being half black.
75 percent racist?
The other 75 percent will get IRS audits each and every year
Would be interesting to know what POTUS's feelings were, facing an audience of people who are already far more accomplished than he is, or will ever be...LOL!
It was words on paper and he presented it as such. Very little enthusiasm for what he was reading meaning, he didnt even believe much of what he was reading.
who yelled out “benghazi”?
‘It is a lecture of how, until Obama came along, all our military was doing was killing people.’
This is why he twice called Marines “corpsemen”. It was intentional. He was dissing them two ways. (1) Insulting them by not pronouncing what they are correctly, & (2) calling them men who make corpses.
Obama has a very deep hateful streak. It comes out very often, & the military is one of his regular targets.
(PS: this was an insult similar to all the middle-fingers he has ‘subtly’ given ppl. If accused, he can deny. It’s part of his immature, passive-aggressive, deep-seated nastiness. Never underestimate how deep the mean streak runs in him.)
Hah! There is no fiber in his being, that's the rub.
They drew the short straws!
Indeed, the boy King strikes again.
This idiot can’t really believe he has a successful foreign policy, can he? Is he that delusional?
I think the 25% just wanted to avoid an IRS audit.
And everything before “but” is bullshirt.
