More sad news. FReeper Gonzo has passed away.

Just received a call from one of his friends in Florida. Gonzo (Barry Lee) has passed away, He was a long term member of FR and was proud to be with us at the March for Justice in 1998. He was a veteran and a patriot and has always been a loyal friend and will be greatly missed.
Prayers for his family and loved ones.

Sad news. I will miss my FRiend of almost 16 yrs. Gonzo and Leni were the first FReepers I met at my first FReep (Gandy bridge). Oddly enough, it was May of 1999.
Barry was a fine human being, and a class act. He was a special person to all who knew him.
I sent Sherry an e-mail to let her know that the First lady and I are here to help her in this time of sorrow.

Oh God, how I hated to hear this sad news this morning!
How glad I am that I was able to see him & get some pictures last August 10th when Leni held that last get-together for us.
Thanks for posting that picture of him & us, Dave. It is so typical of the many, many FReeps and fun times we all shared together. I, too, have many pictures from those ‘glory days’ with Gonzo. We are friends forever.
RIP Gonzo. You are one-of-a-kind, true-blue, and we all love you and will greatly miss you.
