What If Fox News Instead of MSNBC Had Pulled This Cinco de Mayo Stunt?

¡Ay caramba! Imagine the cries of offensive ethnic stereotyping or worse if Fox News had observed Cinco de Mayo by having one of its yanqui persons of pallor staggering across the set in a sombrero while chugging from a pint bottle of tequila?
But it happened on MSNBC, so the PC police probably won't make a peep about it. At the today's transition from Way Too Early to Morning Joe, there was producer Louis Burgdorf with his Halloween-store sombrero and pint bottle. Way Too Early host Thomas Roberts encouraged Burgdorf "to drink the whole thing and eat the worm," meaning either it was mezcal not tequila or Roberts just doesn't know his south-of-the-border booze.

Nobody watches MSNBC. Those who do don’t care.

If anybody watched PMSNBC, it would be a big deal, I suppose.
As it is, nobody noticed.

More people heard about that stunt on Free Republic than saw it live.

Cinco de Mayo is a phony “Hispanic” holiday institutionalized by the liberal media. It isn’t observed in Mexico.

I'm guessing this isn't an uncommon sight at that network. Gotta get through the day somehow.

I don’t know why people make such a big deal about stinky tamales every May 5th.
Oh wait, never mind.....

I find the holiday quite appropriate, and celebrate each year as an opportunity to collect out-of-date expired jars from the fridg of the white stuff, and shoving it all down the sink.

Roberts probably meant something else by “eat the worm”.

In other words, nobody saw it?
It’s not racism if they do it ?

"Cinco de Mayo is a phony 'Hispanic' holiday institutionalized by the liberal media. It isnt observed in Mexico."
FWIW, I learned that it is both truly an American and Mexican holiday, arising from an unlikely victory in 1862 against France in Puebla during the American Civil War.
Cinco de Mayo
Could you share a source to support it being a "phony 'Hispanic' holiday institutionalized by the liberal media"?
