A CHEERFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE
Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? We may never know the answer to this question, but when it comes to living a fulfilled life, the joy precedes the good feelings. As a matter of fact, the joy is the antidote to the woes of life. Humor is great medicine. Humor helps us to see the big picture. It provides us with a new context by which to view our situation. It gives us a different vantage point which we can use to reevaluate life. Humor gives us reasons to feel good! My prayer today is that we find humor in all of life.

We haven't gone shopping together yet. We went to Mass together and parked our walkers in the Narthex. The boys are doing the laundry every day as well as other chores usually done by Mrs. MacNessa - I don't think they realize yet that they will continue to do so after she has fully healed.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Today was bright and sunny. I mowed the lawn and there was enough water still in the ground that the lawn tractor’s tires stayed wet over most of the yard.

HERR GEDENKEN NICHT UNSER ÜBELTHATEN Felix Mendelssohn (Click)
HERR GEDENKE NICHT unsere Übelthaten, und erbarme dich unsere Elends. Herr, der du unser Heiland best, stehe uns bei, Erlösen uns und vergieb uns unsere Sünden, um der Herrlichkeit deines Names willen. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
LORD, REMEMBER NOT all our wickednesses, but in mercy, Lord, look thou upon us. Lord, our Savior blest, send Salvation! And release us and forgive us our transgressions for the majesty of thy glorious Namesake. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
