Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold.
Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
“This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my sources, yes, [Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”

Shaffer said the question now is what precisely Obama did or didn’t do in the moments he saw the attack unfolding. The CIA reportedly made three urgent requests for military backup that were each denied.
“He, only he, could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something. That’s the only place it could be done,”

He could say he wasn’t certain if what he was seeing was a real occurrence or maybe an elaborate piece of fiction meant to distract with misinformation. Of course no one would really believe that, but the White House would then consider the matter sufficiently answered and now closed to any further comments. Closed, to all the reporters who wanted to remain on Obama’s ‘buddy list’.
The video cover-up story was so tattered and frayed that it had to be composed on the fly. And they stayed with it for so long, even after it had collapsed of its own inanity, that they had to be covering-up something serious that would deeply harm the administration.
Running guns to Syria was certainly a part of what was going on -- but it wasn't enough to warrant such a transparently desperate cover-up. All that was needed to defuse a gunrunning venture was to mutter "Iran-Contra".
As you, I'm convinced the real crime being covered-up was an Ambassador for Blind Sheikh deal -- made behind the scenes by Obama and Egyptian Prez Muhammad Morsi.

Lt. Col. Schaffer was the source behind the Able Danger story including the allegation that this program identified Mohammad Atta before 9/11. Whether this was true or not, after a great deal of hype, no one seems to have been able to provide an public proof of it.

Why? It’s driving me crazy as well. They were denied help weeks even a couple of months prior despite reports of other attacks in the surrounding areas. The last visitor they had that day was a Turk who left the compound shortly before. They were isolated. It’s as if they were deliberately set-up...What was so important inside the compound that they wanted to destroy.

I don’t think he was watching this go down live... I think he could not be found and there was no one to give the GO order. Reason for why he was not available??? That is the cover up.
