Why Does Nation Tolerate A Habitual Liar As President?

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it?

It's no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall.

Asked, "How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?" 37% replied "most of the time" while 24% answered "some of the time." Twenty percent said, "Only now and then." [snip]

But this latest Fox poll found that Obama's approval fell to 51% from the 53%-55% range of Fox's seven previous polls. You have to go back to early October 2013, when it was 49%, to find approval of Obama lower.

But when a large majority of the public recognizes a president as a habitual liar, it is outrageous and entirely un-American for the most powerful within the nation's press to let him get away with his lies, and betray what they claim to stand for.

Lies that keep the liberal bubble inflated are seen as highly moral by the most powerful members of the nation's press.

It's just one manifestation of the left's corrupted compassion.

We're too busy watching Dancing with the Stars to be bothered about the quality of government.

Game, set and match, we lose.

He can only get away with lying so long as the media propagandize for him.

And, we don’t want to hand the Left a martyr.

We didn't do that when we impeached Slick. He beat the impeachment and stayed in office, but the black mark was wider and blacker than a set of street slicks would leave, and no matter what the Left does, it'll never, ever wash off. It's historic.

.....this man is so corrupt that it defies logic that people aren’t up in arms.

Enough of the People are themselves corrupt. The politicians have encouraged the People to lower their standards .... like Dennis Miller's long-ago description of the Devil, as a charming, witty fellow who helps you lower your standards "just a little bit".

Sounds like there is ranch in Nevada where folks who have had enough are making a stand. If one could stand with them it might be something one could do.

The pine tar on the ball player’s neck was like the last straw for me. I feel like the guy with the lantern looking for an honest man. It appears there are damn few. Integrity is a thing of the past, it seems. No wonder the country is in such poor shape.

I don't think he is so good looking. I think he is just deceitful looking. Maybe as Harry Reid said he does look like a clean negro so that helps our half Arab President get a pass. Obama also has that phony website Snopes to give him a pass.
