Glenn Beck criticized Cliven Bundy’s comments on race on his radio program Thursday, saying the Nevada rancher is “unhinged from reality” and urging his supporters to “end your relationship” with him.
“He’s often wondered if black people would be better of as slaves?” Beck said on his program, after reading from Bundy’s comments on race reported by The New York Times. “End your relationship. End your relationship. If that doesn’t end your relationship with him, you have to go back and question where did you go wrong. You wondered if blacks were better off as slaves picking cotton and having a family life? They didn’t have a family life!”
The radio host and former Fox News contributor had previously urged conservatives not to align too closely with Bundy. Earlier this month, he warned that the standoff between Bundy and the federal government had brought in “violent, anti-government groups.”
Beck in particular zeroed in on Bundy’s comments about “family life” during slavery. “If he really thinks that slaves had a family life, just that shows you how unhinged from reality this guy is,” Beck said. “You’ve got to distance yourself, you must know who you are standing next to at all times.”

Not sure what happened to Glenn Beck.
I was a fan of his for a long time. Still am to a degree. But he seems to be on the wrong side of things lately.
Entitled to his opinion, sure... but he’s wrong on this. Completely.
Beck has lost his mind. For a so called intelligent person he failed to understand what Bundy was saying. Beck is unhinged and that does it will never listen to this jerk again.

Beck’s next outburst: “Bundy is a heterofascist who wants to kill gays, he’s a Putin sympathizer! Shoot him then melt his gold teeth and send it to me!”
People rallied to Bundy’s defense not because of him. I couldn’t care less if it was a member of the Black Panthers! The Fed are in the wrong. THEY have seized land they have no right to, and terrorized civilians. None of this is about Bundy, YOU IDIOT! Bundy could be a David Koresh grade nutjob and it wouldn’t change a thing! THE FEDS ARE TYRANNICAL!!!
Same ole play book. When the rich and powerful get caught, they make personal attacks to destroy people. Remember Clinton’s attack on “trailer park trash” etc.
Bundy’s beliefs, character or lack there of, has nothing to do with whether or not the Government is behaving in an unconstitutional manner.
The BLM still sent what amounts to a military to collect a bill. BLM was ready to shoot a citizen over an unpaid bill. We don’t have debtor’s prisons in this country. Owing money is not a capital offense, and if it were, the Congress Critters and Federal Government are the worst offenders.
Are Beck and Reid attached at the hip because they’re both Mormons? Or just morons?

Frankly, I’m waiting to get Mr Bundy’s views on Nafta and School Charters before making a decision on whether he’s qualified to raise cattle.

IMHO, Beck’s a snake oil salesman and a nutcase. I base this on his “religious” preference.
He was Catholic, then became Mormon. He claims he deeply researches everything he’s interested in, however I don’t think he spent much time researching his new “faith.”
I think one of his goals is to legitimize Mormonism because he equates this cult with Christianity and people who don’t know the truth about Mormonism believe him.
I used to listen to him about 5 years ago...but stopped when he started pushing his “religion.”
