Heath Peacock, 34, the husband of Melissa Hixon Peacock, 33, who was caught on video canoodling with her boss, Vance McAllister, 40, a GOP congressman from Louisiana who touts his Christian faith, says the incident has "wrecked" his life and he and his wife who has since been fired are now heading for divorce.
"I'm just freaking devastated by the whole deal, man. I loved my wife so much. I cannot believe this. I cannot freaking believe it. I feel like I'm going to wake up here in a minute and this is all going to be a bad nightmare," the hurting husband told CNN Tuesday.

if your marriage cannot withstand this level of misconduct, it wasn’t really too strong to begin with...IMHO

I suspect that men are hardwired to not accept the wife back after an affair. Probably has something to do with not taking her back and being subsequently in the position of raising the interloper’s child. Nature tells the man to help pass on his own genes and not someone else’s.

Normally when people here go ape-(poop) over adultery treating it like it’s murder, I roll my eyes. I guarang*ddamntee you at least half of Congress is committing it, most of them aren’t dumb enough to get caught on tape or text pictures of their wang like that moron from NY but they are doing it, I assure you, both parties, both genders, every day.
But his buddy’s wife? This guy is scum. If you’re gonna screw around with a friend’s wife it should at least be because your madly in love with her. He should have made use of a wh*re like Senator Vitter did rather than ruin his pal’s marriage. He’s garbage and the cheating wife is garbage.
Anyway, the most important thing is that he’s a RINO who fooled gullible idiots into supporting him with cheap tea party rhetoric, hopefully this scandal helps us get rid of him. It’ll be worth the embarrassment to the party this is causing if it does.
Anyone care who filmed the canoodlers?
“...when people here go ape-(poop) over adultery...”
It’s a trust thing. If a man or woman can’t be trusted to keep their wedding oath, they sure as hell can’t be trusted to keep ANY oath.
Integrity, character, honesty - these things matter, and they are virtues that we need.
“...the most important thing is that hes a RINO....”
Precisely, and he outed himself as a scumbag. Good riddance.
I started writing a psalm, here it is so far:
HaShem, HaShem, my sweet HaShem. I love You, my sweet HaShem.
He was outed as a scumbag BEFORE the election when he came out for shamnesty and “fixing” Obamacare rather than repealing it. He won by playing the “I’m a political outsider” angle to fool enough conservatives into joining democrats in electing him.
“... fool enough conservatives ...”
Why are some on our side so damned gullible...
I don’t know. But when those Duck Dynasty reality show people endorsed McCallister people went gaga over him. It boggles my mind.
