As deciphered by curators, the tattoo on her thigh, written in ancient Greek, transliterated as M-I-X-A-H-A, or Michael. Curators at the museum speculate that the tattoo was a symbol worn for religious and spiritual protection, though they declined to offer additional details. Only the Father of Lies could twist biblical text to distort the God given tradition of honoring others, into an act of Pagan worship of animals, sex, money, etc.

It isn’t beneath the devil to use the bible against God. Honor and love of others is good. The devil is very deceptive.

The Archangel Michael is also called St. Michael. When we pray for his intercession and help, we say address him that way.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. (and Hotep).

This was done to ward off an Incubus—a ghost that sexually attacks a woman. It worked—or she would have had another on her other thigh.

Catholics call him St. Michael the Archangel.

Same for the Orthodox.

For example, Symi island, Greece is also called St. Micheal's island.

The monastery there is called the Monastery of St. Michael at Panormitis and also called the Monastery of the Archangel Michael at Panormitis.
