In a speech Friday, Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush praised illegal immigrants as "risk takers" who embody the entrepreneurial spirit of America and doubled down on his defense of Common Core.
According to the Miami-Herald, Bush made his remarks in front of business leaders in Florida.
People who come here legally and illegally are the risk takers, Bush reportedly said. If youre living in a rural area of Guatemala and you come, youre a bigger risk taker than those who stay, he added.
Of course, the first action of those who come to the country illegally is breaking the law.
Bush also said he was the "Eat Your Broccoli Governor" and implied he would be telling conservatives to embrace policies like amnesty and Common Core, which is reminiscent of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman's all-in approach to global warming during his failed 2012 presidential campaign.
Bush accused those opposed to the Common Core as embracing the "status quo."
You tell me which society is going to be the winner in this 21st Century: The one that worries about how they feel, or the one that worries about making sure the next generation has the capacity to eat everybodys lunch? Bush stated.

If only a member of the Bush family could marry a member of the Clinton family then the United States wouldn’t need any more Presidential elections.
Men who rob banks take risks too. So what?
No more Bushes - no more welcoming criminals.
Undocumented withdrawal. niiiiicccceeee!
Yes. It’s called ObamaCable. You don’t have it?
Jeb, if this is true, why don’t you, Barack, and Mario get a room? We don’t need to see this act in public.
TigersEye for president 2016!!!
Jeb should have those Risk taking criminal invaders pack that broccoli up his Ass!
Pandering limp wristed UnAmerican Puke.
It’s called National Sovereignty. If you don’t like it Jeb, take you sorry Agenda21 crap family to Mehico and become El Presidenti.
You can make the same case for bank robbers.
By the way bank robbing is also illegal. -tom
Violating our national sovereignty should be a felony with a minimum 1-year prison sentence followed by immediate deportation and guaranteed revocation of any chance of being able to legally come here in the future, as an immigrant or a tourist or for any other reason. A second offense should be mandatory 5 years’ hard labor. Let them pick lettuce on a chain gang, then deport their asses to the farthest point of their country of origin. a third strike should be even more draconian.
And all anchor babies should have their citizenship revoked because of the “and subject to the jurisdiction” clause.
That would be an uphill campaign to say the least but those policy changes would probably be the first order of business. Since most of it would just be a matter of enforcing existing law it would be an appropriate use of Executive Branch powers. It's long overdue.
New world order globalists FU “STAY OUT THE BUSHES”
That’s right, Porky-—publicly praise lawbreakers as you gear up to run for president.
You can forget my vote.
I dislike “me too’s” but in this case if Jeb is the candidate I stay home.
I voted for his brother every time he ran but no more Bush for me. I did not vote for Bush, the New in the recent Texas election and was a little surprised he won with such a margin...
We do need a ‘Like’ button to cut down on the “me too’s”. When there is a hyper-thread I check the first page and then go to ‘last’ to see if any thing of value was said in the following 500 posts.
Just go back in the country club and chow down, Pillsbury.
hopefully this RINO will not make it past the primaries.
No more Bush’s, Klintoons or any other family pack of grubs.
