I'm really suprised the VA hasn't just ignored state law and ordered survivor benefits; but for now...
This is the right thing to do.

Now wait a minute.
I thought it "Wasn't about money" - it was about "Loving who you wanted to"...

Sorry she lost a friend, but a woman can NOT have a wife. Impossible.
To: Responsibility2nd
She can cry me a river. There are many combat veterans not getting disability benefits.
Some who are spouses, whose survivor benefits were promised legally, and renege don by Paul Ryan and his dem friends.
THey can publicize that and, when solved, attend to this non issue, that was decided on in a court of law, same as disability benefits and spouse benefits.

I'm sure she got the life insurance as we can assume for her deep love, she was made the beneficiary.
But if not...then it may be that family (blood) gets any benefits.
And to date, she has not been denied..only says her case is under review.

I hope this answers the question of “how does gay marriage hurt anyone else?” Because we’re being made to pay for it, through military benefits and inevitably through Social Security.

Tracy Dice Johnson goes to bed each night dreaming about her wife Donna Johnson. This is what pretends to be a news story in America today.

“Unmarried widows” don’t get benefits either

Tracy Dice Johnson goes to bed each night dreaming about her wife Donna Johnson. Article begins with a bald-faced lie. Why should I believe ANYTHING this "reporter" pukes up?
To: Responsibility2nd
Hang in there, Tracy. The Supreme Court will fix it soon.

I presume that the surviving pets are also not receiving a death benefit.
Why? Because there wasn’t a dependent relationship as recognmized by law.

I have an idea. Get psychiatric help. Find out whatever messed you up early in life and work on that. When you’re all better, go find a man and get married for real.

Not a widow because... never married Exactly. This is the main reason they are pushing for legalization of gay marriage. They want the Med benefits, the life insurance payouts, the recognition in Probate courts, etc, etc, etc.
It's not a feel-good issue. It is strictly financial.

her wife Donna Johnson.
If she had a wife, wouldn't she be a widower?
And if you like girls, and you are a girl, then why is one a husband and one a wife? The wife shouldn't be wanting a husband. And the husband should be wanting to be a husband. Right?
This is so confusing.
