Exactly. This is the main reason they are pushing for legalization of gay marriage. They want the Med benefits, the life insurance payouts, the recognition in Probate courts, etc, etc, etc.
It's not a feel-good issue. It is strictly financial.
The ‘dream’ is exactly that and will remain so regardless of corruption of the law.
