American Royalty.
No I am not.
Two words: Terry Schiavo
Jeb is part of the problem
My mistake, there was an exception, 2012.
No more liberals. I refuse to vote for them no matter which party they belong to.
Which is why the GOPe will undoubtedly put everything they have behind him.
Some have said that it was the Bush people behind Christie’s fall from grace. Maybe or maybe not, but it’s interesting that of all the possible ‘frontrunners’, it happens to be another Bush.
Estragon: Nothing to be done.
First of all: TERRI SCHIAVO. Jeb was GOVERNOR, yet allowed the murder of a Florida citizen in broad daylight.
Also, open borders, amnesty, no courage. Would never have the courage to shut down Depts. of Energy, Edumacation, Commerce, Labor, etc. Would NEVER have the courage to end the Fed and go on the Gold Standard. Would never support the FAIR Tax and repeal of the 16th Amendment.
The preferred candidate of the Chamber of Crony-fascists.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Stay out da Bushes!
The handlers who chose for both parties have given up any pretense of free choice for elections, haven’t they?
Column A or Column B from the same set of choices we’ve been offered before. Oh look! Another Clinton, another Bush.
Maybe they’ll try something sort of new and put up a superannuated senator as a candidate~
Again.
I think Bush might run in the primaries, and it would be a good thing because we’ve got to get some candidates out there who are at least plausible. However, I think his name is too much of a drag on him. GW Bush was not a bad president, but he has been demonized to the extent that simply mentioning the name “Bush” is enough to make the Dems go apoplectic. So I don’t think Jeb Bush really has any chance, although if he runs, it might give other candidates a chance to clarify themselves and emerge.
And, while I could certainly be wrong, I don’t think Hillary is going to run. She might make noises about it, but I don’t think she really wants a light shined on her activities or non-activities as SOS and, frankly, I think the Dems probably want someone younger. (I think they’re going to try to run Moochelle.)
I must continue to quote the Reverend.
“..Stay out the Bushes”
This must be a joke. He is worthless.
I think the nation has strong Obama fatigue. I think people in some ways like Obama (how I don't know) but they also see the guy as incompetent. Obama gets low marks on the economy and almost every single thing that requires skill and competence. I think Hillary represents more of the same Obama no matter how they may try and dress her up and disguise her.
Hillary does have a built in base of support and certainly the corrupt MSM will go to bat for her. But, I question if the corrupt MSM will be as ardently in her corner as they were for Obama. Obama is a Marxist. Obama is black. The corrupt MSM acts as his armor. The corrupt MSM will support Hillary, just not to the extent they put their thumb on the scale for Obama.
Yes, I know the Bush name is an anathema to most of the 47%, but I think there is in fact a secret longing for the competence of George Bush. I think JEB represents that sense of stability and competence in spades and I think right now the American people absolutely crave competence, stability, skill, and an adult in charge. I think JEB may represent that.
Hillary is old, not a good campaigner. Not a good speaker. Not an inspirational mover of people like Obama. I also think the American people will look long and hard at upstarts. I'm not sure there is much of a stomach to go with another untested, unknown candidate.
I'm not a JEB guy, but the more I think about it the more I think he will get in the race and if he does he will be quite formidable.
Considering that a survey just weeks ago still show 50% of the responders blaming brother George W for the current economic problems, the Bush name remains toxic.
Let Jeb run and get it out of his system. He might be facing some other GOPElites — Christie, Romney, etc.
