How many times are you going to misuse the term..”bugout”?

Most people I know already have a bugout plan. I does not generally mean to get on a airplane and go to a foreign country. It means to have a plan to get you and yours to a place of safety, should society breakdown.

In such a situation, cities and many smaller metro areas will become campfires. Looting, burning, killing, and all in between.

If you don't have a plan in place for that possibility, then you should make one.....sooner the better.

I agree with your sentiment about our organizing capacity, ability to respond to crises and capacity to fix things.

But I also agree that a tipping point has been reached. Not necessarily one that leads to the "destruction" of the nation, but one that means that the ultimate crisis requiring fixing is now inevitable. It's no longer a matter of "whether", but "when."

And at the point of "when" its going to be ugly. Very, very ugly.

In thinking of when it will come, and whether his advice will be heeded (even by people who have never read it), the situation in CT where ~100,000 people, accounting for 85% of "assault weapons" owners are in possession of ~300,000 now "illegal" firearms, comes to mind.
