Amen, brother Dawg. I am so done with the surrender monkeys and purveyors of cowardice around here. If they want to run and hide, I say good riddance. They need to turn in their Freeper cards and leave the discussions to those who still have the will and the backbone to fight.
So true Wind, my mantra has evolved to;
step up or step off!
Okay, so we must resist and overcome tyranny. By what means? Keep voting? Other than peaceful means?
Waaahoo, spoken well and I will jump on top of that with both feet and a pair of big shoes.....out with the cowards and whiners.
No place or time to be worring about your back in a ditch with a bunch of fence jumping expat cry babies. Bring it the old fashion American way and we can get down to business. Win, lose or lose (ain’t no draw)....
Amen, Windy... “Bugging out” is not an option for someone who claims to be an American.
This is my home, my country, my Nation, and at last HALF of the people here are my People as well.
There IS no where TO run to; folks can run all away all their lives, and these cretins will just follow them - because THEY can’t exist without us. They need us; we don’t need them.
So, these surrender monkeys can run all they want. Go to some Third World country, settle down in some little village off the beaten path, and when the Marxist or Muslim Rebel terrorist group du jour comes through - which they will, eventually - then run again. Or join them.
We didn’t get where we are after 240 years by running away. If there was EVER a time for Americans to ACT like Americans and stand up, this is it.
This isn’t free. Nobody ever said it would be. Most people go through their whole lives never realizing that that particular bill is still out there and will need to be paid someday.
Many already paid it, went away to foreign places, gave up all of their tomorrows for OUR today.
Way I figure it, my life means nothing in the grand scheme of things other than what I do to make sure what was left to me is still there for the following generations.
I’ve had a good life because some 19 or 20-year old American kid gave his life up on Iwo, or in the Ardennes, or in Ia Drang, or Pleiku, or 73 Eastings, or Mosul, or Falujah.
If mine is required now, then it is what is. My old man almost bled to death in the snow in the Ardennes so that I’d have a good life. How the hell do you repay THAT? Certainly not by running away.
Better to stand and fight - like an American Man - than run and hide. If it’s alone, by myself, then so be it. Every man has a moment of truth, and it’s usually faced alone.
We all die eventually. It’s what you LIVE for up to that point - that matters. Whatever small part I was put on this Earth to play, I will play it with due diligence.
Who am I? I’m an American.
And NO ONE will ever make me turn my back on that.
Woof, woof Brother Dawgs... Grand Pack Howl.
Exactly my thoughts as well!
Have bad things happened to our great nation over these past years? Yes. Is it anything we cant fix? No. Has anyone ever in the history of the world ever got anything that was truly worth a damn that they did have to work for or fight for? NO!
I feel just as you Windflier and I have said this before and I now say it again; Like you I would rather die standing shoulder to shoulder with friends and family protecting our own on the soil that my forefathers bleed and died to protect than to live out my life old, alone, and more than likely broke in some third world rat trap. Yes I might die under the heel of some tin pot despot or overwhelmed by his zombies, but I will at least be able to look those family members in the eye when I hopefully meet them in the next life and more importantly I will be able to say to my God:
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith

But I can not abide the thought of dying a foreigner among strangers, who do not understand or have knowledge of my ancestors, my history or my culture and there living out my days on earth like a shadow, without hope or a land of my own.
