If Democrats would wake up and realize what Rep. Trey Gowdy is saying is true, then we can begin to move the ball in the right direction.
Until they do that, grab some popcorn, folks. When people stop being polite and start getting real, we’ve got some real entertainment on our hands.

Well, were it not for Sheila Jackson Lee, I’d say he’s right. So in this case, Nancy is just the penultimate example of “mind numbingly stupid” [albeit a very close second]
Stupid in a knowing stuff sort of way but dangerously canny in a political/bolshevik sort of way. I’m sure Gowdy is not naive enough to mis-underestimate her.

one thing is that she sure knew (knows) how to get her caucus to do what she wanted(wants) them to.

Will we see the republican leadership come out and apologize for his comments?

Why is there the standing perception that all legislators have to be “friends?” McCain would be “good friends” with Satan if he won a seat.
We have to repudiate this congressional culture and demand that our reps start representing the interests of their constituents, other hostile legislators be damned.
