NORTH TEXAS (CBS 11 NEWS) – Judge Carl Ginsberg presided over two ceremonies its participants believe are the first, legal gay marriage in Texas.
Two couples said their “I-do’s” and all four people consider themselves female. But one member of each couple has had their gender changed surgically from male to female.
“On all of my information, it still says male,” said Ashely Boucher. “So, legally I’m still male in the state of Texas. My presentation would suggest otherwise. But my documentation says that I can marry Genevieve no questions asked.
“If you were born male and became female through being transgendered or having a gender reassignment surgery, they consider you to be biologically male,” said UTA political science professor Thomas Marshall.

Well then! If anyone can declare being either a man or a woman by simple assertion, then there’s no “need” for “gay” marriage. Any couple of XX’s or XY’s can toss a coin to decide who’ll be the bride and who’ll be the groom.
The recent alumni publication I received from Trinity University of San Antonio, TX, listed, in the “Alumni News,” more than one man + man “marriage.” That doesn’t mean they were “married” in Texas, of course.
As long as his birth certificate says “male”, he is a male and can marry a female who is a female on her birth certificate.
Also, if a male and female marries, THEN one has a sex change, as long as the birth certificate identifies that person as the gender the person was at birth, the designation won’t change. That person can say he/she is a leopard or a kangaroo, but it’s the birth certificate that counts.
This “marriage” needs to be challenged in court.
Actually ‘Ashely’ is correct. No matter how much a person wants to change gender, they will always be the gendered which they were born. Every cell in a person’s body will have 46 chromosomes (unless they have a genetic abnormality). A person born male will have XY sex chromosomes and a woman will always have XX sex chromosomes. They can pretend against nature,but it will not change their genetic makeup.
A male getting his genitals cut off doesn't make him a female; it makes him a eunuch and/or a gelding.
So sad to see a person SO screwed up in his/her own gender that s/he gets another set of them. Sad, sick and sinful. Why not go with GOD's plan? He does know best since He created us.
