Documents from an Ohio National Guard (ONG) training drill conducted last January reveal the details of a mock disaster where Second Amendment supporters with “anti-government” opinions were portrayed as domestic terrorists....

After excerpts of the report were read to him, Sims said it was “not relevant” to understand why conservatives may feel unduly targeted by ONG’s training scenario. “Okay, I’m gonna stop ya there. I’m going to quit this conversation,” Sims concluded. “You have a good day.”

I think they have not purged the military enough yet. When they feel they have an Army and Marine Corps, that are both sufficiently programmed to their communist type of thinking, then they might attempt a door to door gun grab. We could be going up against a military that will take great pleasure in killing American patriots, and will convince the world of the righteousness of their cause. I remember Jesus in the Bible say those who kill you, think they do God a service. This is a little different, but the principle is the same. Millions could be killed, on both sides, but the shit heads can not accomplish their goals, without a gun grab first. They might have to shut down the Internet and phone service too, because news of a gun grab would flash across the country in minutes. Sorry for the long rant.

That’s why we need to maintain other forms of communication...Be prepared at a moments notice to implement what you have already decided to do when the time comes...

This is not fatalistic, it is resistance in its purest form...You cannot label it, you cannot classify it...Our response will be brutal, individualistic, and ultimately fatal to ourselves...

But you have to ask yourself the question...

“What am I prepared to do about it, and what am I willing to sacrifice to ensure its success?”

It is the ultimate “gut-check” question, rhetorical in nature and one not requiring a response in a public forum...

Those funny white guys back over 230+ years ago didn’t just debate, formulate, draft and approve the forming of this country on a whim...They certainly had their differences of opinion...And at the end of those long days in Philadelphia, they came up with a pretty good plan...And most went to the local pubs to muddle over personalities and their differences over a few pints...

And then, they went home, and in some cases they gathered with their families in front of those fireplaces and made musket balls...Because they knew a fight was coming...

We need to realize a fight is coming, and the sooner we can all relax about that eventuality, the sooner we can get used to the idea that our enemy is right in front of us...And if that doesn’t cause you to be concerned...

So I'm giving my CCW class to about 30 people, 5 cops and their wives are in there, and they keep refering to citizens and "civilians". I corrected them on the spot. I told them that they, even in uniform, are citizens, albiet with the authority of the state to enforce legilation. I went further to state that the only difference between us "NOT COP" types and themselves is that they can issue traffic citations and serve misdemeanor warrants as we cannot.

As I saw their face scrunch up and the lightbulbs go on, I could see the 2 older cops nod and their eyebrows "tell" that they accepted the statement, and the 2 younger ones were still confused.

I reminded them that the term "civilian" should be used by the military only. A citizen is someone involved in the political body that governs them. That means that both cops and non-cops are citizens.

A civilian is someone who is NOT involved in a current conflict.

I reminded them that the growing militarized police force should be damn careful in confusing citizen vs. civilian. We are not in an armed conflict YET with our police forces.

Anyways, I got off my soap box and thoroughly enjoyed watching their wives shoot perfect scores. They were delighted. Women are, in my opinion, great shots. They listen to instruction, and focus like a laser beam on the TTP of fundamental shooting.

Sorry, but I have seen a real tendency among self-defined libertarians to want government programs...but only the ones they want. And drugs do seem to be the defining issue for libertarians.

Again, this may not be the official position of the Libertarian Party or even a respectable current within it. But it’s sure one I’ve seen a lot among people I know who call themselves libertarians.
