The Rebel Alliance is destroying the Death Star - Conservatives out-fundraise Establishment

Insurgent conservatives seeking to pull the Republican Party to the right raised more money last year than the groups controlled by the party establishment, whose bulging bank accounts and ties to major donors have been their most potent advantage in the running struggle over the party’s future, according to new campaign filings and interviews with officials.

Baby Newt

The shift in fortunes among the largest and most influential outside political groups could have an enormous impact in the 2014 election cycle, as the warring Republican factions prepare to square off in a series of Senate and House primaries around the country and as Republican leaders seek to rein in activists who they believe have fractured and endangered the party with policies that alienate independent-leaning voters.

Groups representing the party establishment, like Karl Rove’s Crossroads, are struggling to bring in the level of cash they raised in 2012, when Crossroads spent more than $300 million in a failed effort to defeat President Obama and retake the Senate, leaving donors grumbling that their dollars had been wasted.

with policies that alienate independent-leaning voters.

Not a word about alienating the base.

They can't win elections without the base, and I won't vote for a liberal(R).

Obama is not popular.
Obamacare is not popular.
The economy has been bad since 2008.
Our foreign enemies are getting stronger.

2014 should be a wonderful time to take power from the Democrats.

But since the GOPe is doing all it can to fight the Conservatives, I suspect the Conservatives will largely stay home (I will likely stay home; I will not vote for Liberals). In 2014 the Democrats ought to lose in a big way, but I do not think they will.

Let’s remember the real enemy isn’t the Vichy Republicans....it’s the Nazi Democrats. Vichy Republicans are spineless, wimpy, and passive-aggressive in their opposition to us pro-Americans. However, once we put our feet on their neck they can be obedient servants to us, kinda like the Vichy French after we invaded North Africa. The Nazi Democrats are the ones who are working hard to destroy America, and we gotta keep our eyes on the real enemy.

Unfortunately, I think you are right. The GOPe would rather lose to the Democrats than win with conservatives and conservative values. They have more in common with the Rats and would lead a comfortable life as the token opposition.

Conservatives need about fifteen more seats in the House and seven in the Senate to implement what needs to be done. 2014 is a year that the Democrats are on defense and will not come again. 2014 is to the Democrats what 1974 was to Republicans.

The truth in all this is the establishment types love O care and immigration “refore” and are not against them. These are the ones who get the dollars from the US Chamber and the insurance industry to do their bidding. Yeah they will mutter being against abortion, and probably are, and not in favor of gay rights, albeit some actually are, but when it comes to economic issues, they side with the dollars and the dollars love immigration change and O care. This will aid the dems wresting control of the house. Frankly who cares, this place is long time dead anyway and we are just picking off the bones now. The faster it collapses, the quicker we can begin anew with a new franchise and way of doing the nations business. The coming catastophe is an economic Rev more so than a social one. In fact, the truth be known, the first one was an economic one at first too IMO.

Horsecrap.

How is putting your foot to the neck of Boner working? He's ramming through amnesty, regardless of what conservatives want.

No, the only solution is to get rid of the liberal republicans, and THEN go after the democrats.

So your solution is to “put our feet on their neck” by re-electing them?

Geez, that is constantly working out so fargin well now, isn’t it. The real enemy was not only the Brits but also the Hessians. Remember?

Let’s remember the real enemy isn’t the Vichy Republicans....it’s the Nazi Democrats.

When the Allied Troops landed in Africa, the Vichy soldiers were more than happy to fire on them. We had to kill a lot of Vichy French soldiers before we were able to get to the Nazis.

The Vichy may not have been Nazis but they stood their ground in defending them.

In this war, we may need to kill most of the Vichy loyalists or we will never stand a chance of defeating the Nazis.

You are applying logic, reason and history to an existing problem that defies same.

One would think that all 2 year Congressmen had to do was do their constituents’ bidding. They do not, especially the Republicans. Even a Senator - all you need do is tend to your constituents - BUT THEY DO NOT!

They are, in fact WORSE than the Nazi Democrats. For two elections, I held my nose and voted for Vichy Republicans. McCain, ever the traitor is still is as insane as he was before his try, and the Romney/Ryan team have showed their true colors. Voting for the ‘Vichies’ is why my two Georgia Senators AND my Congressman are now TRAITORS.

I’m not gonna vote for a RINO, a GOPe, nor a Vichy Republican. It will either be a true conservative, or it will be nothing at all. Letting them (Vichies) get power will do about as much good as W did us when he had both House and Senate, and we can see where that got us.

Nope, not having that tired old argument again.

The Vichy Repubs and Nazi Dems both like big government and the high dollar donors that keep them in power.

I wish we could get more people out to seize control of the RNC itself. They write the party platform and policies but are among the most liberal republicans there are with a few exceptions.

Michigan RNC committeeman Dave Agema simply stated the party platform position and it led to this endless attempt to force him to resign. Then he really stirred things up by telling the truth about the RNC and the fact that the platform they write is nothing more than a facade to attract voters but they have no intent of actually following it. He also points out that the GOP has a reflex to immediately run for cover and offer up a sacrifice at the first sign of controversy and democrats use it.

Here is a very interesting short interview with Agema. Its very telling.

Dave Agema

Most recently he's under fire for saying that sharia law has no place in America.
