A local news station brings viewers inside one Pennsylvania company as the employees their learn about their new health care plans under Obamacare:

"Look at the numbers," says the reporter of two employees. "Jeff and Dave used to have a $1,250 deductible. Since Obamacare went into effect, it's now jumped 60 percent to $2,000. That's nothing compared to Brian, Kristi, and Judy who have kids. they are going to pay twice that, four grand." The reporter adds that co-pays are being increased, too.
"I don't know how President Obama thinks he's helping us because we can't afford this, we can't afford to pay these co-pays, to pay these deductibles on what we're making," says one of the workers.
Another worker adds, "They call it the affordable health plan. There's nothing affordable about it. I can't afford it."

I hope they WERE obastard voters. Then they’d richly deserve what they got!
You make an interesting point.
I’ve never been good at, or even interested in establishing a budget.
Balancing my checkbook just wasn’t one of my priorities.
I’ve gone from ball-parking my available balance in the Hundreds to the thousands and back to the hundreds.
It’s all about optimism.
And I just want to point out, calling the president a bastard IS technically correct.
I’m so old, I told my wife I was getting a free sex change paid by Obama and she said “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Headline on Drudge: Romney leads New Hampshire primary voters for 2016.
New Hampshire voted for the Doofus in 2012.
Having voter remorse ?
Sure she did - TWICE! Somehow she will convince herself it isn't 0dumbo's commie fault, but greedy insurance companies and the Tea Party forcing her to pay, what will probably amount to at least half or more of her paycheck on "affordable" healthcare! I swear, there should be competency tests before allowing morons to vote!
Not to worry....... the increase in the minimum wage will inflate all wages enough to cover the increase in health insurance
Wage inflation is Obama salvation without the crucifixion
Monthly Cost Estimated monthly silver plan premium (without subsidy) $618
Estimated tax credit from the government $222
Your estimated monthly silver plan premium $396
If that income is correct she would even qualify for cost-sharing deductible reduction in my state.
The people believed in “the rich paying their fair share.”. They didn’t realize that they would be part of “the rich.”
I will wait to get the details in my local Progressive Official Obama Propaganda Outlet, poopo, the TIMES UNION (Albany NY).
It doesn’t say if she was married or not. If married is her husband employed. Too little info to extract what her premium would be on the PA exchange or on any other. Regardless. The premium is unchanged, only the people paying the premium change. Either her or her neighbors will pay.
I’m sure we know who Andrew voted for, and I’d bet Wendy voted the same. Hint: not Romney.
Obama wants our only alternative to be his healthcare insurance.
The Obamacare train is planned to crash and around the corner single payer is supposed to pick up all the pieces.
Keep in mind, suckers...not ONE SINGLE REPUBLICAN voted for this. Admittedly; they didn’t do much to clean up the mess, either.
When you're the small business owner who's own rates went sky-high and you're already angry at what this new "law" is doing to your employees.
I've been a small business owner - twice. The second time in the mid 90's with 22 employees - all of which were provided health care benefits. Our insurance broker was in each year reviewing our options to keep costs down back then. My employees had a say in the plan we chose and therefore saw themselves what they were paying vs. what I was paying for their insurance.
I can only imagine that the auto body shop owner in this video was pretty distraught at the financial implications being foisted upon his employees as a result of Obamacare....
Based on the information available to me she can get a silver premium and deductible subsidized policy (in my state) for $1,000/month less than the plan her employer is offering.
Man I wished the reporterette had asked who in the room voted for Obama last go around.
“OK, how many of you did this to yourselves this year by voting for Obama in 2012?
How many of you who didn’t vote for him think it would be fairer to take your increases and pass those along to the geniuses who that this would be a good idea in 2012?”
Lol. Thanks. Few people (even Freepers) catch that. Lol again. Although I’m sure using that term has put me on some lists. Probably a few more than being a poster/contributor to Free Republic does. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately), I lack the gene that lets one feel fear. And yes, that has gotten me into trouble before...
I understand.
I know the issues that both the business owner and his employees face.
It’s a disaster.
I simply suggested that having the media present when they “found out” for the “first time” about their new costs, was staged.
In no way am I saying that these costs or issues aren’t real.
The local business owner and the local media got together and produced something they thought would have an impact. God bless them.
To suggest that this was the “first time” they found out about their new HC cost’s is disingenuous.
The media seems to be stuck in a sense that their viewers are stupid.
It’s a bit more than that, Bob.
