Loudmouth really showing his liberal colors now. On the same show he also had his liberal half-brother Dennis Miller saying over and over and over how much he's for gay "marriage". O'Reilly never once interrupted him and said he was for real marriage. The reason is simple. O'Reilly agrees with pro-abortion, pro homo "marriage" Dennis Miller.

10*40*52=20,800.

How is a family supposed to survive on $20,800?

We need better jobs, not a political gesture.

Yes, Bill is right again.

In fact, it would be even better to raise minimum wage to $100/hour, right?

Or $1000/hr?

That way, everyone would have a ‘living wage’?

After all, government decrees alter reality and create value from thin air.

This tells me BOR has no clue about the Constitutional limits on governmental powers.

Exactly WHERE does the Constitution grant the power to set the minimum wage, or gas mileage standards, or ban incandescent bulbs, or regulate coal-fired electric plants into the ground, among other outrages?

O'Reilly has become a marketing machine and not much more.

I have noticed that Megyn Kelly, who actually lets her interview subjects speak without interruption, is right behind O'Reilly in her viewer rating numbers.

I believe she will eventually pass him and be Fox's BIG drawing card.

If wages are to be based on what a person wants instead of what they are worth to the employer then why not just totally break the connection between the value of an emplouee's work and give everyone $100 an hour.

Or maybe $500 an hour - No more, no less.

If an employer has to pay $10 an hour to a person only worth $8 an hour then why should the manager or foreman earn $30 an hour? Just move to a true socialist economy and just give everone the same wage, no matter what they do or how good, or bad, an employee they are?

After all, that policy worked out so well for the USSR.

He reminds me more and more of Ted Baxter.

The issues aren’t important to Bill; it’s the fact that he has an opinion on a subject that’s so important. He and Piers Morgan should co-host a show together. They deserve each other.

Let’s take a ride in the way back machine...
What has happened since July 2008?
Anybody?
Buehler?

Of course, there’s no correlation between unemployment and minimum wage increases. Right?
Labor is a commodity. The government setting prices will not bode well for the market unless your intention is to create inflation. Reminds me of Nixon’s ‘wage and price controls’. Yeah, that went well.

Let's make the minimum wage whatever BOR makes.

Then see if he thinks we should do it.

What a slow child.

O'Reilly said his proposed $10 an hour minimum wage would apply only to adults.

So of the 3-5% of workers in this country receiving minimum wage, he's proposing slicing that number in half, and only having to pay extra for adult workers. How will this help 1) the overall economy, and 2) "income inequality?"

.... Gee ..... I’m no expert .... but wouldn’t the raising of minimum wage also demand a wage hike to union and other skilled jobs which are tied to a percentage above the minimum wage ...... thus creating a domino effect of increases in pricing, cost of living, inflation and other issues thus negating any ground made by increasing minimum wage. Wouldn’t it just create a vicious never ending circle/cycle.

What would really freak the democrats out is if the GOP skipped past $10, and came out strongly in favor of a $12 minimum wage.

I don't watch this a-hole but if I were to go along with his premise a mandatory reduction or cap on HIS salary can AND should be mandated. His salary is what drives up the cost of Porsches, Audis, homes etc.

Now THAT would make items cheaper for the proletariat
