Why didn’t they have Nikki Haley respond she can speak off the cuff, this gal seems so scripted and that leads to the “uncanney valley” when it comes to relating with the rest of the people.

The speech of the Laura clone who gave the response was 50% personal biography (who wanted her life history, anyhow?) and 50% standard political treacle. A lot of potatoes and no meat.

No one can pursuade me that the GOP-elites contributed to and approved of her "DON'T ATTACK OBAMA" girly soft-sell.

It was DELIBERATELY inoffensive to the leftist regime, folks.

Any resemblance to a speech which actually countered Obama's filthy LIES was non-existant.

In short, don't be fooled...her speech was DELIBERATELY an astonishing GIFT to the Dictator-in-Chief. Obama and his palace guard and courtiers are no doubt partying with leftovers from Moochelle's birthday bash as we type...and yukking it up and patting each other on the back. Her GOP "response" was the best hors d'ouvres that could have been put on their plates tonight.
