WASHINGTON, DC – Today, First Lady Michelle Obama joined the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) and SUBWAY® along with SUBWAY® Famous Fans Michael Phelps, Nastia Liukin, and Justin Tuck at a local Washington, DC, SUBWAY® Restaurant, to announce a three-year commitment by the chain in support of her Let’s Move! initiative to promote healthier choices to kids, including launching its largest targeted marketing effort to date. In addition to strengthening its already nutritious menu offerings to kids, SUBWAY® will launch a new series of campaigns for kids aimed at increasing fruit and vegetable consumption and will set new standards for marketing products to families.
“I’m excited about these initiatives not just as a First Lady, but also as a mom,” said First Lady Michelle Obama. “Subway's kids' menu makes life easier for parents, because they know that no matter what their kids order, it’s going to be a healthy choice.”

The Subway sandwich chain will spend $41 million over three years to encourage them to eat more food that doesn’t come from a box, the first lady announced Thursday at one of the Connecticut-based company’s restaurants just north of the White House.
Some people—I won’t mention any names, but her initials are MO—really need to get a life of their own and leave other people the hell alone!

They’ve agreed to spend $41 million on “media values” whatever the heck that means. The question I’d like to ask: Spend $41 million ... or else what? There’s either an Obama bundler in the woodwork at Subway or Chicago thuggery going on. The CEO said it’s a ‘natural extension’ of what they do .... I think he’s been smoking a little choom at the WH or something to agree to aligning himself with The Mooch.

That’s an obscure Pynchonism reference. “Gravities Rainbow.” I laughed big time when I read that scene!
I’ve been following their Facebook comments since yesterday. I finally saw one poster today (out of thousands) who said she was supporting Subway by ordering 5 sandwich platters.
The comments didn’t fare well for her and she resorted to name calling and screaming. It was the digital version of sticking her fingers in her ears and yelling, “Tea-Partiers, nobody can hear you!”.
