Tea Party Express, the nation's largest Tea Party political action committee, will host the official Tea Party response to President Obama's State of the Union Address directly following the Republican response. Senator Mike Lee will deliver the Tea Party response at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and will focus on issues that are important and unique to you and me.

For the Tea Party movement, 2014 is not just about taking back the Senate, but it is also about putting forward conservative ideas that will allow for America to prosper. Senator Mike Lee has been both a Tea Party hero for supporters across the nation, and a conservative leader in the Upper Chamber. He has introduced tangible policy solutions to some of America's biggest problems. We are honored to have Senator Lee deliver Tea Party Express' 4th annual Tea Party Response to the State of the Union.
Since the President has been re-elected, the debt has continued to skyrocket and unemployment has ticked up, but he has offered no solutions and has shown no leadership. In contrast, Senator Mike Lee has put forth solutions that would spur economic growth and rein in Washington's out-of-control spending. We are excited that Senator Lee, a conservative leader and strong voice for the Tea Party movement, will be offering our perspective on the state of the union.
Tea Party Express hosted the first ever Tea Party State of the Union response in 2011 with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Herman Cain and Senator Rand Paul have also delivered our response in years past.We promise to you that we will continue to fight to give the Tea Party a strong voice in Washington, D.C.

The address to us wasn’t as important? He didn’t spend tgat time prepping? He dhows u voice tired and dry. One of the most sincere pleasures I enjoy in life is to listen to intelligent people speak. I find Mike Lee to be very compelling to listen to, I am looking forward to this.
You know though, for this precise reason:
1. Both the President and the Republican “response” will be quite lengthy, so as to drive away as many average Joe voters as possible before the Tea Party can speak
2. Most networks won’t even cover the Tea Party response. Fox and maybe CNN, but that’s about it.
I hate to be a wet blanket but there it is.
That’s why we must get the word out that Mike Lee is giving the Republican Response!

Let’s hope he explains TEA stands for “Taxed Enough Already” when he delivers his rebuttal.
Yup. The congress needs to end this unconstitutional bureaucratic law-making business. This is the equivalent of the congress ceding its legislative power to the executive branch. It’s an invitation to tyranny. And Obama’s taking maximum advantage of it. If the congress cannot or will not end it, then the states must step in. This practice is depriving the states of their constitutionally guaranteed right to a republican form of government. It’s establishing an all powerful central government, ie, a strongman dictatorship.
We won’t allow the piece of excrement “president” into our home (we turn the channel whenever he comes on), but we will be watching Senator Lee.
Tea Party Protest should be directed at those who are suppose to
protect us from government abuses by reporting them to the masses.
The tea party should direct itself at the media instead of groveling to be heard and vilified without fear of reprisal.
