MARK LEVIN: We are witnessing a gradual, quiet COUP!

Posted on Jan 14, 2014 at 6:57 PM

Mark Levin opened his show today livid over Obama’s announcement that he will ignore the legislature and use his pen to write executive orders. He says the separation of powers are the key to our Republic and yet today Obama just announced that he would assume lawmaking powers via executive orders.

Mark Levin says what’s going on here is that we are witnessing a gradual, quiet coup:

He’s just announced that he is going to assume lawmaking powers. He does not recognize the majority in the House of Representatives. I don’t know how much more clearly he can say it. You know what this is folks? This is a gradual, quiet coup. That’s what is taking place. It’s gradual. It’s quiet, in the sense that it’s non-violent. But it’s a coup!

Then we realize we're out numbered... and we realize in a democracy or a republic... the majority gets to make the laws. We press the argument, we continue to try and persuade.... but we have to understand that a majority of people ruled by a minority is true tyranny. Even if the minority is right, and even if its well armed.

We also realize... this is not a christian nation anymore. And our constitution is completely unworkable in a nation that doesn't fear God.

But.. the supreme court hasn't excused the dictates yet. Let's pray to God that someone steps up and makes the argument, and that the court does what is right.

I can only hope that our military hasn’t been so entirely gutted as to not be an ally to the Constitution. There is, quickly, coming a time for the statists, corporatists, and political elitists to go the way of the Romanovs. No single issue will be the stimulus, but a cummulative affect is taking hold...not that this hasn’t been predicted.

“In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution, with all its faults, — if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of government but what may be a blessing to the people, if well administered; and I believe, farther, that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other.”

Benjamin Franklin - Speech to the Constitutional Convention

No I didn’t miss it. Clinton didn’t ignore Congress to the extent that Obama does.

The point of my post was that this coup didn’t start with this current statement from Obama.

Patriots need to increase their wealth and put it to work to further their agenda.

The problem is any time anyone achieves massive wealth--they bring them into the fold. Page, Gates, Zuckerberg, etc.--now all committed to the vision with seats at the table for themselves and theirs.

Exactly. One has to know the hooks that are used, and then be able to see them and resist the temptations and withstand the pressures. In order to do that, of course one needs the grace of God, but on a human level one who can accomplish these would have resistance as a necessary purpose in their minds.

An illustration: if one was going "undercover" as a spy to attack an enemy, one has to first know what one is fighting for and why and have some resolve, in order to avoid being turned away from one's spying tasks. Spies without much resolve, clarity, etc., can start to see the enemy's side of things after living in their environment for a period of time trying to convince enemies that they belong to their group. It would be so much safer and easier, after all, to just "flip" and thus become a double agent, since the immediate danger is only from the enemy you are in the midst of.

New world order's hooks are all the "classic" ones, all the sins; they use what is most effective against each individual. Folks with an immoral bent, of course, are easy. David Lloyd George, for example, had insatiable sexual appetites; rumor has it that the mysterious arms dealer Basil Zaharoff provided his own wife to George for those purposes. There is always the offer of unlimited financial backing with which to expand one's enterprise for those who let their covetousness get the better of them.

One would have to be wealthy, Biblically-oriented with at least a reasonable doctrinal position (i.e., not a cult member, be completely misguided and lying to oneself, etc.) - and also be aware of new world order, in order to stand a chance of even wanting to be independent-minded.

Of course, the intersection of those three sets is very small.

If one eliminates the wealth constraint, however, the intersection of the latter two sets is quite a bit larger. Hence the idea of people "growing" their wealth, i.e., people who may well have what it takes to do the right thing but just are not wealthy. Would 100 people with a net worth of 1 million have more or less influence than 1 person with a net worth of 100 million...

Sorry, but your handguns and long guns are now obsolete and pose no threat against tecnology and enforcement by drone.

You don't fight a drone when the enemy lives next door.

Which is likely why we have a proliferation of government edicts designed to attack the middle class and redistribute wealth to the lower class and the already wealthy.

Why have a rebellion when secession is a better option. Read history much?

I know how you feel, and I have considered leaving, but I have come to the conclusion that, for me, leaving would mean that all those who have fought and died before us have done so in vain.

I believe taking up arms is the last resort - it was for our Founders. And, in our case, taking up arms may just be what the community organizer-in-chief wants - then he really could be supreme, and look (at least to his low information faithful) morally right in doing so.

Maybe I’m naive, but I have faith in our Constitution and in the American people - that’s why we are the longest standing democratic government EVER.

Our Constitution specifies a three-part government - if one part tries to exceed its authority, the other two have the authority and power to correct that situation, and I see the SCOTUS putting some shots across the bow that correction may be required. And, I see a few Congressional Conservatives who have what it will take to make such corrections.

And, the American people have always ended up doing what is right, even though they may have strayed a bit before finding the right course. I see more and more Americans seeing the truth and becoming aware of just how far off course we have allowed ourselves to go. BUT, to me, it will take three things for that to work:

1) A return to the recognition that our success as a nation has and will continue to depend on our collective faith in the God of Creation - the One who the Founders credited with their success. To a large extent, we have pushed God out of our culture, and He won’t force Himself on a country that turns its back on Him. Suffice it to say that “separation of church and state” is a myth - just look at the founding of our country to see how much the Founders looked to, depended on, and supported Godly activity in society. They wrote that we should have “freedom of”, not “freedom from” religion.

2) Strong, truly Conservative leadership to bring the American Conservative majority together - leadership that inspires and brings unity.

3) Americans who are willing to get off their duffs and become familiar with the issues (not just the sound bites the MSM gives us), identify and support strong Conservative candidates, vote, and follow that strong Conservative leadership. We have allowed ourselves to become a nation of selfish individuals, demanding our way, often at the expense of those standing next to us - I have the right to demand that I get my way, but I also have the right to not demand my way - we need to learn again how to follow good leadership.

I don’t believe the time has come to take up arms. But, to avoid that necessity, the time has come for Conservative Americans to stand up and be counted.

Best be careful there little man.
At some point, you CAN p!$$ off too many people. Eventually you'll get to someone who doesn't give a damn. Let history be a guide.
