Mark Levin opened his show today livid over Obama’s announcement that he will ignore the legislature and use his pen to write executive orders. He says the separation of powers are the key to our Republic and yet today Obama just announced that he would assume lawmaking powers via executive orders.
Mark Levin says what’s going on here is that we are witnessing a gradual, quiet coup:
He’s just announced that he is going to assume lawmaking powers. He does not recognize the majority in the House of Representatives. I don’t know how much more clearly he can say it. You know what this is folks? This is a gradual, quiet coup. That’s what is taking place. It’s gradual. It’s quiet, in the sense that it’s non-violent. But it’s a coup!

and doesn’t any one have standing to get the courts to act??? I would have called on congress to act but the fact is there are a handful of folks there that have a spine the rest of boot licking lap dogs waiting to be told by Pelosi and Reid and O what to do (Boehner and McConnell fit the later category)
Instead of griping about it? So you don't want Mark broadcasting far and wide about liberty and tyranny.
The court is the keeper of the constitution. If Obammy is violating the constitution, the court is the proper place to pursue remedy.
The people if they can keep it, are the "keepers" of the Constitution.
As compared to what? Not our present "government".

Secession is a stupid idea which didn’t work the first time it was tried with a coalition of adjacent and like-minded states and will certainly not work now.
Taking back the Constitution will take a second revolution, period. Before anyone says there aren’t enough people who will take up arms to do this remember that for most of the first revolution there was no solid consensus among the people or the states. Enough took up the cause to carry it through and to win over enough people to win the day. Couldn’t succeed here? It has succeeded elsewhere where tyrants finally pushed the people a step too far.
The tyrant, his party and the loyalists including the RINOs and GOPe need to meet the same fate their predecessors did in Rev I.
Obammy is talking about a presidential order to extend unemployment benefits if congress doesn't do it. That's the one to start with.
The whole system (both parties) are corrupt.
No one will make any waves for fear of upsetting the apple cart and losing their “job” and fabulous pensions. Time to light fires under their asses.
The democrat party has always had more in common with the Nazi/Fascist worldview than the communist worldview up to and including being the leader in supporting racial eugenics programs. Programs the Nazis copied then carried to the extreme rather than sticking to the subtle US model.
Of course democrat fascists were going to stage a coup as soon as they got both houses of Congress under their control along with a fascist President for even couple of years. They knew it was going to be their last good chance to do so because they no longer had a "threat" to scare the public with while at the same time coordinating with.
They're throwing any country they can undermine at the jihadists to try and keep them occupied while they consolidate their takeover then they'll try to unite everyone to resist what they'll finally admit is a real threat.
Once totally in charge, believe me, they'll have no problem being bloodthirsty and anxious to fight anyone that gets in their way. Democrat antiwar noise is strictly a political tool for party infighting and elections. In their one party State it won't be an issue.

The problem is any time anyone achieves massive wealth--they bring them into the fold. Page, Gates, Zuckerberg, etc.--now all committed to the vision with seats at the table for themselves and theirs.
Obama could declare himself dictator and the GOP would just whimper and the Democrats and media would applaud his bold action. I fear Obama will end free elections before his term ends.
1. Mark's warning comes disgustingly late, the facts were in the public realm at least 6 years ago (and my screen name was selected when the left was playing Bush II).
2. The "how" is an interesting question but, more disturbing, the "when" could be a matter of decades or even longer, especially with borders that are not secure. Fortunately, lab tests demonstrate the frog does jump out and, even better, we are talking about the human spirit.
Somebody wake me up when conservatives are finally ready to march on D.C. ... ARMED.

We have been reduced to a them or us reality. It sucks - but there it is.
There’s some congressman already trying to get POTUS term limits overturned, I forget his name but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if it happened. What we got here is a mad dictator running amok around zombies. He basically does anything he wants while they walk into walls.
The coup was born in November 2000, and assumed power in January 2001. It’s been going strong ever since.
Guess you must have missed Paul Bugala saying “stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool!”
