If it could harm public safety, then I think I should get free DirectTV.

It’s good for a laugh if nothing else.
NBC has done an excellent job of converting WC into a propaganda device for “climate change”.
And they have “news” segments from MSNBC.

The Weather Channel is pure Global Warming propaganda and hype. We used to watch it but haven’t in a very long time.
To: UB355
I’ve got DirecTV and have NEVER watched the Weather Channel (Too many environmental wackos). I’ve been safer than hell without it. This is goofy.

I noticed recently that there’s another 24hr weather channel at 361 - Weather Channel at 362.
The Weather Channel is not a public health necessity

Skywarn.org has chapters throughout the country. These are the weather spotters and you can listen to their reports on local radio frequencies

Ive got DirecTV and have NEVER watched the Weather Channel (Too many environmental wackos). Ive been safer than hell without it. This is goofy. Who needs any sort of TV weather, when you can immediately get the weather for any city you want from the Net, instead of watching TV (and its commercials) until it gets to the thing you want to know?

If there is a hint of bad weather, the major channels are broadcasting nonstop.

When I want up-to-the-minute coverage of incoming dangerous local weather, I always turn to the channel that spends 95% of its its time covering national weather trends and spreading Global Warming propoganda.

I find the WeatherChannel useful for the little box I get when I push the red button on my DirecTV remote that shows the current temp and forecast for my location and 5 zipcodes I can enter. It helps me keep track of what the temps are where my relatives/friends live.
