If it could harm public safety, then I think I should get free DirectTV.

It’s good for a laugh if nothing else.
NBC has done an excellent job of converting WC into a propaganda device for “climate change”.
And they have “news” segments from MSNBC.

The Weather Channel is pure Global Warming propaganda and hype. We used to watch it but haven’t in a very long time.

I’ve got DirecTV and have NEVER watched the Weather Channel (Too many environmental wackos). I’ve been safer than hell without it. This is goofy.

I noticed recently that there’s another 24hr weather channel at 361 - Weather Channel at 362.
The Weather Channel is not a public health necessity

Skywarn.org has chapters throughout the country. These are the weather spotters and you can listen to their reports on local radio frequencies

If there is a hint of bad weather, the major channels are broadcasting nonstop.

When I want up-to-the-minute coverage of incoming dangerous local weather, I always turn to the channel that spends 95% of its its time covering national weather trends and spreading Global Warming propoganda.

The Weather Channel asked its viewers Saturday to urge Congress to intervene in its business dispute with DirecTV,... Wow.
I never really watch the weather channel. Sounds as exiting as "the bowling channel" or "the drying paint" channel. So, there wasn't a lot of respect there to lose, but what little there was is now lost.

The Weather Channel is a joke. Who would ever rely on them for a reliable weather forecast? They are nothing but drama queens and alarmists. Every time there's a storm, they send "reporters" out in the field to bend in the wind and hold on to their hats while people walk around behind them going about their normal activities.
This isn't Weather channel but this hilarious video shows the absurdity to which these TV weather people will stoop to in order to make it seem like the world is coming to an end. And they will tell you it's all due to "global warming" and George Bush!
To: UB355
Huh? The Weathe Channel sees itself as a public utility, or it now believes it has the power of blackmail.
They are freaking nuts.

We can all get along just fine without the Weather Channel.
They are simply not as competitive nor correct as many other sources.
My local radar, common sense, and the Saturday Summary from Joe Bastardi serve me more than adequately.
