I’ve got DirecTV and have NEVER watched the Weather Channel (Too many environmental wackos). I’ve been safer than hell without it. This is goofy.
Who needs any sort of TV weather, when you can immediately get the weather for any city you want from the Net, instead of watching TV (and its commercials) until it gets to the thing you want to know?
I find the WeatherChannel useful for the little box I get when I push the red button on my DirecTV remote that shows the current temp and forecast for my location and 5 zipcodes I can enter. It helps me keep track of what the temps are where my relatives/friends live.
Me too and I don’t even know what channel it’s on.
If I want to know the weather, first I walk outside.
If I need an “extended forecast”, I check the interwebs.
I would assume that TWC is trying jack up its prices again.
