The weather channel is kind of egotistic if they think people have no other venue to get weather information from. And isn’t Congress getting involved with private business disputes the last we want?

We already have national system for disasters. The weather channel is a private business.

BTW, I never watch the channel. It could get dropped and I’d never notice it.

Heh. Got in a heated argument with a FReeper (!) because he thought Congress should make so-called à la carte channel selection the law [THE LAW, I TELL YOU!].

He just could not understand my resistance to that when it was obviously such a good idea. That's where we are now. If you favor something, then government should do it, by golly.
