Chuck Wooten, a military veteran, was already ticked off about Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) pushing through the bipartisan budget deal, which includes cuts to veterans retirement benefits. So when he got a fundraising email from Ryans office asking for money, he decided to really let the Wisconsin congressman know how he feels. The scathing open letter, posted on Facebook last week, is going viral and you only have to read the first few sentences to know why.

What are the cuts to the vets?
God-help-us bump
What are the cuts to the vets?
Remember ‘the Ryan plan’ ?
6 billion over 10 years. Reduced COLA. Meanwhile.the Rats are looking at extending unemployment benefits to certain people for 1 year at a cost of 26 billion. I hate our pathetic government who has no respect for those who gave some and some who gave all.
I’m not clear if this is past or future vets.
Ryan is a sellout punk!
we almost had him for VP ....What can be done to cause the Republican Party to find good , electable candidates ? America needs a hero ! Not another fricken lawyer .... Never again .
Yeah right! And the democrats are all for liberty, capitalism and will allow you to keep what you earn! /sarc
I agree that many items come to mind that should have been cut first.
However? The country IS broke and cuts must be made!
Ryan created a ‘budget’ that the Democrats loved-what does that tell you?
Ryan knows that Obamacare is going to hurt dRats in 2014.
Ryan has seen what government shutdown did to republicans a few months back.
Ryan’s deal is basically a neutral deal. It cancels government shutdown.
It is a strategy to cause no harm until 2014 elections.
It may just work. Trying to force a better deal would automatically result in a shutdown. The dRats currently have the veto power. repubs have no power to pass a deal they desire. Another gov’t shutdown will hurt repubs badly in 2014.
Until GOP wins the White House, no better deals are possible. That is the reality.
You are 100% correct in that cuts must be made.
However repubs can not override president Zero’s veto.
Not enough votes in senate to do that. The Rats will never go along with cuts because it hurts their base of freeloaders.
Best strategy right now is to not do anything to stop the Rats while they are imploding on Obamacare.
First we have to win elections. Only then a successful fight for our agenda is possible. The cart has to stay behind the horse.
Sad, but true.
The shutdown didn't hurt the GOP, that is simply MSM progaganda.
What hurts the GOP is doing 'business as usual', which Ryan is doing.
It isn't a 'neutral deal' it increases the Gov't debt by 2 trillion dollars!
The reality is our esteemed GOP House quakes at the thought of media criticism, and has granted Obama both pigmentation immunity from his crimes, and de facto control of appropriations.
Conservatives have been waiting for another superman since the departure of Ronaldus Magnus in 1988.
National elections have not and will not lead to restoration of freedom.
Article V.
The loss is worse with fake-conservative backstabbers we have now. They'd rather lose elections than cede power to conservatives. If they don't cede power to constitutional conservatives, we're no worse off losing and could be a unified opposition without them.
The liberal Democrats are an enemy to the American people and our Nation. “
(Which ones are those? RINO ryan)
Sounds exactly like karl rove... I disagree with you... you still believe in the republican party... too many of us have seen the light. I may vote for Conservative republicans but the party is dead to me because I do not trust them and the leadership has proven themselves as progressive whores out for their own power and wealth. ryan is a progressive and a statist. I choose to believe my own eyes and ears. I trust no one any longer but GOD and HIS SON.
