Support for the country's new health care law has dropped to a record low, according to a new national poll.

And a CNN/ORC International survey released Monday also indicates that most Americans predict that the Affordable Care Act will actually result in higher prices for their own medical care.

Only 35% of those questioned in the poll say they support the health care law, a 5-point drop in less than a month. Sixty-two percent say they oppose the law, up four points from November.

The poll was conducted for CNN by ORC International December 16-19, with 1,035 adults nationwide questioned by telephone.

Pelosi was right — they had to pass it before Americans found out what was in it.

Where’s the leader for REPEAL? Why isn’t there a massive REPEAL movement? There ought to be millions marching on DC to repeal this communist take-over of our country. Is there any strategy proposed anywhere to rid us of this monstrosity? Where is our leader on this? Who will LEAD? Sen Cruz? Why don’t the few brave ones in Congress speak loudly and start a movement? The whole enterprise stinks to high heaven, huge majorities don’t want it, yet there is no opposition I can discern.

TOTALITARIANCARE: Make it up as you go…roll out whatever, whenever...

Where are the articles of impeachment against Obama, Congress & USSC?

The “supreme” court sanctioned a PRE-MEDITATED LIE, that was supported in lock-step by a party of deceivers, and now is funded by compliant opposition party.

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

Why we need to separate: Add the “approve” number (35%) to the “oppose, not liberal enough” number (15%) = 48%. These people are dolts and/or communists who will always choose poorly, no matter what the question.

many comments at site are vomitorious

in any event I find it odd that dems are surprised that the law is being fought against so hard and still.

They jammed this major change thru on bribed votes not a single R and said “take this and like it, bitches” and they wonder why so many people have always wanted it to fail and still do?

I rather prefer this one:

When a government has ceased to protect the lives, liberty and property of the people, from whom its legitimate powers are derived, and for the advancement of whose happiness it was instituted, and so far from being a guarantee for the enjoyment of those inestimable and inalienable rights, becomes an instrument in the hands of evil rulers for their oppression.

When the Federal Republican Constitution of their country, which they have sworn to support, no longer has a substantial existence, and the whole nature of their government has been forcibly changed, without their consent, from a restricted federative republic, composed of sovereign states, to a consolidated central military despotism, in which every interest is disregarded but that of the army and the priesthood, both the eternal enemies of civil liberty, the everready minions of power, and the usual instruments of tyrants.

When, long after the spirit of the constitution has departed, moderation is at length so far lost by those in power, that even the semblance of freedom is removed, and the forms themselves of the constitution discontinued, and so far from their petitions and remonstrances being regarded, the agents who bear them are thrown into dungeons, and mercenary armies sent forth to force a new government upon them at the point of the bayonet.

When, in consequence of such acts of malfeasance and abdication on the part of the government, anarchy prevails, and civil society is dissolved into its original elements. In such a crisis, the first law of nature, the right of self-preservation, the inherent and inalienable rights of the people to appeal to first principles, and take their political affairs into their own hands in extreme cases, enjoins it as a right towards themselves, and a sacred obligation to their posterity, to abolish such government, and create another in its stead, calculated to rescue them from impending dangers, and to secure their future welfare and happiness.

Another interesting piece of info: “Republicans” oppose 95% to 3%. “Conservatives” oppose 85% to 15%

15% of Conservatives want Obamacare? Seriously?

Where's the leader for REPEAL?

Well, a couple of answers to that:

First, Obama might be that leader…based on what he said Friday, which more or less repeals it.

Second: Repeal will be the campaign issue of 2014 - and leaders will emerge and poseurs exposed during this campaign. Cruz is not running, but I predict he and Palin will be tremendous leaders in '14 cycle.

Third: repeal may well be the issue of the 2016 campaign too.

Made my day. Thanks for posting!

I emailed my Dem congressman last week telling him that this disaster needs to be repealed ASAP. Just keeping the pressure on as the Dems politicans are now running scared with the off year elections less than a year away.

I may be naive but I think a ground swell of opposition from constituients can de-rail this monstrosity.
