All of them together on one plane. Why not take carter too? He definitely supported Mandela’s position on Israel.

Even better . . . now I feel like I’m on the Religion Forum (there’s a pun, there). “I know I am, but so are you. Nyah nyah.”

Yep...I agree with you about the BDS on this forum.

In actuality, Bush kept us safe while fighting 2 wars, he brought us out of a recession at the end of Clinton's tenure, he sparked the economy with tax cuts, he stood strong for prolife causes despite a LOT of pressure to do otherwise, he formed top rate alliances around the world, he stood against gay marriage, and he never failed to speak of his faith.

What happened in the last six months of his tenure was caused by Pelosi and the left who never failed to attack the economy while she was Speaker. On top of this, investors saw a socialist on the cusp of taking the Presidency and sold off out of fear which sparked a crash.

I will never fail to be grateful that we had Bush as President instead of Al Gore or John Kerry. What a disaster they would have been at such a trying time! What is encouraging to me is that Bush's approval is now around 49 percent while Obama's is under 40. Bush's legacy is slowly becoming a positive one.

If you really want to piss them off, ask: “what would Ron Paul do?”

Every time you post something equating George W. Bush and Obama you are furthering the cause of communism.

Good idea!

Is too much to ask that they all stay there a while? ;-)

Good answer. You don’t refuse invitations from the president. Bush probably wanted to go but didn’t want to intrude.

Re-Pete post:

Ya know, when Uncle Joe, the Father of All Mankind croaked in 1953, the fools and leaders (but I repeat myself) of the world wept crocodile tears too. It took another Communist Nikita K., a simpleton, in 1956 (5?) to set them straight, and even then they couldn’t admit they had been wrong about their beloved mass murderer (it took folk hero Pete Seeger to 2000 and beyond and even then I don’t think he renounced his religion!)

Times have changed of course, no one in public life will turn on Saint Mandela in two or twenty years, the Western world has gone slumming, the Communists, despite the unfortunate collapse of their monument the Berlin Wall, have for all purposes won the war against Western values, African savagery and misery is worshipped as we speak (contact Bill and his spouse Gates if you want to join the cult), and it is coming to your American neighbourhood.

Obama will be just as classy as when he went to Thatcher’s funeral.

"Whatever, it's just the right thing to do. "

Why, I wonder, didn't the same thinking apply to Maggie Thatcher's funeral?

President Obama couldn't be bothered to name an official representative, much less attend himself.

George H.W. Bush was unable to attend, due to his poor health.

So why didn't W. take up the slack for America in this case?

W didn’t go to Thatcher’s funeral? I did not know that. That’s just messed up. Did he give some kind of excuse at the time?

We really need to stop electing people who went to Harvard and Yale. They are not as smart as they think they are. We know they are not by actions like these.

Nelson Mandela 1918-2013

By David Horowitz On December 6, 2013 In Daily Mailer,FrontPage

http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/david-horowitz/nelson-mandela-1918-2013/print/

Mandela began as a terrorist and never turned his back on monsters like Arafat and Castro, whom he considered brothers in arms. When he was released from prison by deKlerk, he showed unexpected statesmanship, counseling reconciliation rather than revenge, no small achievement in a country in which the “liberation” movement (led by Mandela’s wife and party) placed oil filled inner tubes around the necks of former comrades and set them on fire.
But if a leader should be judged by his works, the country Mandela left behind is an indictment of his political career, not an achievement worthy of praise – let alone the unhinged adoration he is currently receiving across the political spectrum.

South Africa today is the murder capital of the world, a nation where a woman is raped every 30 seconds, often by AIDs carriers who go unpunished, and where whites are anything but the citizens of a democratic country which honors the principles of equality and freedom.
Liberated South Africa is one of those epic messes the Left created and promptly forgot about.

Not that I'm aware of. Frankly, I was stunned that he wasn't there to represent his dad, if not the U.S.

...the Clintons are still going...

So are GWB and Laura. I think it's terrific. Obama probably invited them all because he had to. After all, they're former presidents and Mandala is a former president. Why should they let Obama go and act like he's the Emperor of the US?
