Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should s-h-i-t in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palins (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported vacation for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.

MSNBC hires these dregs right out of the gutter. So how long does the network think it will take before the gutter comes out in them?
Bashir is trash...but he thinks no differently than those who watched his show. That is why he was hired and that is why he said what he said.

Well, W.T.F was referencing Barry’s Win The Future bit of community organizing.
Is “strippers” and obscenity? I could see that if it were about putting one in ones mouth.

I asked a legitimate question about what people consider proper etiquette for a public figure speaking to a national audience. You chose to interpret it as a person attack against someone you apparently are heavily emotionally attached to. Therefore you rush to the defense of someone who does not need to be defended.
Bashir’s comments were vulgar and he should have been fired. If you are fine with Palin’s comments then just say so. I thought they were a bit immature for someone seeking high office but then again she isn't seeking high office, is she?

Not enough. Time to move the goalposts and demand that MSNBC offer a ‘conservatives only’ week of programming as an act of reparation.
To: seanmerc
It’s a good thing Fox News reported Bashir’s resignation; otherwise nobody would have noticed.

Justice prevails. Now if you could only get Maher, Mattrhews, and Maddow to do the same...

> Sorry to consistently be so negative, but its long past time that we treat liberals like the vermin they are.
One of the reasons they get away with it is because just about every conservative is Christian with a certain degree of civility and morals, often turning the other cheek and we’re dealing with a liberals who are the polar opposite that are using new techniques of deception in the political realm. We’ve learned our lessons and people’s eyes are being opened.
