BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

People today take way to seriously "games".
I understand rooting for the local or your favorite team. I understand the fun of rooting against the opposing team. But this is all supposed to be about having fun.
But people getting angry about this???
Most people don't have ownership in a team. Most people aren't players on the team. Most people don't have any form of skin in the game.
They sit in their seats at the stadium or their sofas at home, slurp soda or gulp beer, stuff their faces with hotdogs and popcorn, pretzels and burgers, WHILE OTHERS do all the work running on a field or court. They go into hysterics when a player from "their" team scores, like they did it themselves. Then they get mad when things don't go their way.
Fanatic (full use of the word Fan)-a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal.
Amish on Amish?
I have an excellent memory for lyrics.
Remember that the only difference is the color of our skin.
They’re a bit nuts down here. (And I was raised here)
thanks, I thought it was.
Seems Tide Pride is nothing to joke about.
Do I even need to click the link?
Nick Saban’s fault.
When ‘Bama was on the 13 yard line earlier in the 4Q they should have kicked a field goal in that close and make it a 10 point game instead of coming up short on 4th down. Oh well.....
I learned English in no small way by listening to Radio America and the BBC Middle East broadcasts.
For a Hasidic Jew, I somehow know all the 60s and 70s rock songs by heart.
Guarantee you she didn’t attend Alabama.
Just wow.
Our son went to school yesterday and listened to so much taunting by Auburn fans. I could see someone with a screw loose becoming violent at such taunting. On the other hand, my other son and I had fun this morning making jokes at the doctor’s office with a nurse who is an Auburn fan. As we were leaving, the doctor called down the hallway, “Do you have a second?” I turned and looked confused briefly then caught on and laughed and shook my head at him. I don’t think the doctor is a particular fan of either team. He is from South America. But he does enjoy picking on all sides of the rivalry.
Hubby and I were eating lunch at a restaurant owned by Auburn folks. There was a group of people eating at a table near ours, and a man at the table said he was late getting home last night because he had just gotten back from Auburn. He said he was so upset about the game that he decided to go poison some trees . . . . He then laughed and said he was joking. I told him not to worry that I had recorded his confession with hubby’s cell phone. LOL
The last few months have been rather rough on our household, but one of our fondest memories of this time was when our son was in ICU, hubby and I went to his room to watch the Bama game with our son even though he was mostly sedated at the time. It was not during visiting hours, so we were not supposed to be there, but we had special permission and we always watch games as a family. The ICU nurses had set up an empty room so they could watch the Auburn/A and M game while continuing to monitor patients. When hubby arrived to watch the Bama game, the Auburn game was in its last few minutes. He and the three Auburn fan nurses were huddled around the tv in that other room, and one of those nurses was grabbing hubby’s arm and jumping up and down as the game ended. They were nuts, and hubby was right in the middle of them though he is a huge Bama fan. The Bama game that night was very uneventful. Our son slept through the entire thing. Hah. He did not sleep through the Iron Bowl. I will take a loss in the Iron Bowl just to see our son make jokes about it with doctors who thought he would be dead or severely brain damaged just two months ago. :)
What the Sam Hill does skin color have to do with this?
His TIDEpool’s a couple quarts short of full.
I can't really determine the murderer's by the photos. The victim is certainly black. See this link: Woman charged with murder in Hoover Iron Bowl party shooting. What do you think? With a name and spelling like Adrian Laroze, she might be one of Holder's people.
it was a female who killed another female!
