President Obama's job approval rating has plunged to the lowest of his presidency, according to a new CBS News poll released Wednesday, and Americans' approval of the Affordable Care Act has dropped it's lowest since CBS News started polling on the law.
Thirty-seven percent now approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president, down from 46 percent in October -- a nine point drop in just a month. Mr. Obama's disapproval rating is 57 percent -- the highest level for this president in CBS News Polls.

Republicans are nearly unanimous in their disapproval of the law, and now more than two-thirds of independents agree. Almost six in ten Democrats continue to support the law, but their support has dropped 16 points from last month - from 74 percent in October to 58 percent today. Support has dropped 11 points among independents and five points among Republicans.

The president's overall job approval rating has declined among many demographic groups since last month, including independents (a 12-point drop), men (down 9 points), and women (a 10-point drop). More women now disapprove than approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president.

President Obama has also taken a hit on views of his honesty. During the presidential campaign last fall, 60 percent of voters said Mr. Obama was honest and trustworthy, but just 49 percent of Americans think that today.

This poll was conducted by telephone November 15-18, 2013 among 1,010 adults nationwide.

Thank you for posting this. This is GREAT news. The lower he gets, the more Congress will move to the right.
Unbelievable. What is wrong with 49% of the people? I mean, I realize there is a certain percentage of true-believers that will back obama regardless of what he does. As others have noted, he could engage in human sacrifice on the WH lawn and they'd give him a pass, say the guy had it coming.
That can't be more than 10, maybe 15% I hope... Where's the rest of the support coming from? My guess is low or no information voters (respondents to the survey).
Low information voters are those who don't follow politics or government or what is happening to them. They have their attention focused in their smart phone and what is going on in their immediate lives. They never stop to consider the bigger questions. They vote based on what they've heard in passing. They are easily manipulated when an issue makes headlines.
The no information voters are similar, but they get their political information from the MSM and believe it. They already are being manipulated and used. They are what happens to a low information voter when they start to be concerned with politics and what's going on beyond the local Starbucks.
Is America finally coming out of her slumber?

Somehow I can’t imagine the “lady” who was so thrilled about her phone from Obama waking up. So many of them are not smart enough to even think beyond their freebies.
The Marxists are pulling every stunt to distract from this meltdown.
By sheer coincidence, Zimmerman’s ‘too good looking to be with Zimmerman’ girlfriend called 911 on him to report all sorts of dangerous behavior.
He’s been arrested and stripped of his guns.
I wonder how much they paid her #1 to bang him, and #2 to set him up and dial 911.
The target number is Zero! Repeal and Zero!

In essence, it is far worse than the poll of this thread seems to say.
Just ~ 10 to 11 months ago Obama’s approval was in the 70s and he was campaigning around America to get voters to demand that congress pass his second term agenda.
Progressive Democrats were counting on that rejoicing that those in congress who dont submit will be punished at polls.
His personally likability was always high even when his approval dipped in his first term, but now he is losing that too.
Its all slipped away.
In many ways this year reminds me of 2005 with GWB.
The “lyin’ king’s” actions have followed right along with sinking to new lows.
