Full title: Obama flubs during health care conference call with community organizers, claims 'more than 100 MILLION Americans' have enrolled
President Barack Obama told a conference-call audience of progressive volunteers on Monday evening that 'more than 100 million Americans' – in a nation of less than 314 million – have successfully signed up for health insurance via the Affordable Care Act.
And at a time when his signature legislative initiative's website has made the White House the butt of jokes, the website hosting the conference call was plagued with its own connection errors and other malfunctions.
A weary-sounding Obama made his gaffe during the call, hosted by Organizing For Action, the nonprofit successor to his campaign organization Obama For America. The group claimed 200,000 people managed to listen, aided by an RSVP process that included a fundraising solicitation.

Is the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) sabotaging Obuma?
That was one of the major screw ups with the website, which required that the application be filled out before the applicants could browse the plans. Of course there were many, many people who were not potential enrollees but filled out the application only because of curiosity about the plans, so that number of applications is probably not an accurate number.
Obumbles lies get bigger and bigger, and now this morning the NY Post reports that the pre-election jobs number in September ‘12 was faked to look better than an 8.1% unemployment number. Of course, everyone knew 7.5% was impossible, but none of the mdm was interested in challenging this pre-election whopper.
This administration lied its way into re-election, knowing that the huge Ignoramus Bloc in their base wouldn’t care what they said because all they wanted was to keep their place on the Federal Gravy Train.

Did he also say that Americans from all 57 states have enrolled?
It wasn’t a “gaffe” - it was a lie. He has had a lot of luck with getting his lies into circulation through the simple means of just saying them with a straight face, no matter how unattached to reality they might be.
It works with people who get all their news by reading or hearing the headline only. One or two words get implanted in their brain, lie or not. And that’s what Obama hopes to do with this never-ending stream of lies.
And the other direct quote says “You’ve got a million Americans who’ve completed an application.........”
He’s counting all of the future Muslims.
I've never seen any population stats on the other 7 states. They must be pretty crowded.
The actual number is only 100 THOUSAND - but that is ‘enrolled’ not people who purchased and paid for it.
How many purchased and paid for it?
I am guessing less than 1000
Maybe they are considering anyone who has decided to pay the Obamacare tax rather than getting insurance as “signed up for Obmacare”.
It’s still not 100 million, but you never know how they will come up with their “honest” numbers. I could certainly see them saying those people paying the tax are funding Obama care so have “bought into it” in the way which they decided was best for them.
