Even the Toxins are leaving.
Archaea.
It’s quite a story....
They bury the best at the end.
Heh, heh, heh.
I have seen archaea spinning gold in deep south african mines. I have seen archaea living in vulcanic vents in deep ocean waters. I have seen archaea creating plants out of creosote. They have created a fantasyland of light and organisms and plantlife deep beneath ocean waters that receive no sunlight whatsoever, They have been detected on all of our space gear and inside the space station and have hitched rides on the space shuttle. They are all over the cosmos doing what they do best. Which is just about everything. Amazing critters that can adapt even in vacuums and in the center of the sun. They cleaned up the entire gulf coast and people are still looking for the dreaded oil which has disappeared. They live in the antactic and arctic creating new species all over earth every second of every day and yet science gives them credit for nothing. Amazing little unseen critters, creators, and adapters becoming whatever they need to be whenever the need arises. Earth belongs to them far more than it belongs to us, although they are part of us as well. They can be as simple or as complex as they need to be. They fill the universe yet are not considered life, while I contend that the universe is very much alive.
Maybe someday we will see.
They're moving to Toxis. Don't moss with Toxis.
Archaea are very bacteria-like, but I can think of no disease caused by archaea. Perhaps their lack of pathogenicity is why archaea study does not receive much funding as compared to bacteria and viruses that cause disease. People do research archaea; there is an annual 3 day conference about archaea, and a journal dedicated strictly for publishing archaea research.
Evil Republicans are stealing it in order to spray it on bird sanctuaries and school lunches.
Never heard of Archaea before. Interesting articles elsewhere.
The Godzilla spawn ate them
Archaea resemble bacteria in that they have no nucleus or organelles. However, their genome is arranged differently, and some of their chemistry is distinct from bacterial chemistry. No known diseases are caused by archaea, although they are found everywhere.
The LEFT never wants to waste a good crisis. Even if there is none.
They are fascinating to study. I have been learning as much as I can since I discovered astrobiology. They have sort of become my passion. My problem with the way science has treated the study is that they stick them in niches and don’t recognize that they literally fill the universe, even what they consider empty space. There is no empty space. Nowhere.
I learned about diffusion in jr high school.
Archaea. Reminds me of Michael Crichton’s last book Micro.
Just shows that man in his arrogance cannot affect the earth long term, she will fix herself.
Indeed, the earth to a very large degree is self healing. If it were not so life would have perished eons ago.
It would appear that the Lord provides, does it not?
