They live in the antactic and arctic creating new species all over earth every second of every day and yet science gives them credit for nothing.

Archaea are very bacteria-like, but I can think of no disease caused by archaea. Perhaps their lack of pathogenicity is why archaea study does not receive much funding as compared to bacteria and viruses that cause disease. People do research archaea; there is an annual 3 day conference about archaea, and a journal dedicated strictly for publishing archaea research.
